My review of the Netflix adaptation of East of Eden is now live at @realDailyWire! Link below.

Mahomes is 8/15 for 68 yards and 1 INT vs. the Seahawks currently and is trailing 10-0
I hope he gets the same energy from the media that Nix did against the same defense on a short week (He won't).

This is the sort of reply I get when I point out tech harm to children. These people absolutely do not care. Take note!
Since tweeting this, my replies have been filled with people proudly proclaiming that they believe interracial marriage is sinful. I hope those who follow and support these people will reflect on the movement they’ve created.
I have a lot of mutuals with this guy, who thinks that an American citizen and her children should be deported for the crime of her being in an interracial marriage. I wonder what they find appealing in what he posts.

His wife & kids need to be deported with him. Until then justice will not be satisfied.
“If you are deceived by the technology literally being developed to perfectly mimic human speech, you’re dumb or something. I am very smart.”
Replying to @jennfrey
If you can be manipulated by an AI, you're probably not smart enough to use technology.
About a third of my personality is being really into Martin McDonagh movies, so Wild Horse Nine better not disappoint.
Fitzpatrick is wearing a gaudily patterned camp collar shirt under a suit jacket. This is disrespectful to the position of TNF commentator.

It's a great mail day when I receive a beautiful new hardback by @tmbejan. I'm glad to see Gerrard Winstanley and the Diggers finally getting their due!
The issue isn't attendance, of course. Nothing wrong with hearing a very powerful person speak. The issue is whether or not some of the people attending feel free to criticize him as harshly as they have those whose pockets aren't as deep.

I am going to say something that very few people want to hear, but I think it's true. The only way to "save the Humanities" is through serious gen ed reform that most universities don't want to undertake.
The hour is very late.
The number of people writing dissertations in the humanities has collapses, now the same thing is happening in the social sciences.
I'd wager that we will see a similar trend in psychology and other fields before long. Cuts in funding, the tight academic job market, and AI are rapidly changing the university and cratering graduate programs.
One time my Oma got so fed up with the grandkids singing at the table she said "you know, if you sing at the table, your children will be ugly."
Peyton and DT 😭
EMOTIONAL: #Broncos legendary quarterback Peyton Manning receiving heartfelt congratulations from players after winning Super Bowl 50 in the final game of his #NFL career.
“You’re the best to ever do it.”
“You did it the right way.”
“I’m proud of you, man.”
“Ride out on the sunset, man!”
Manning ended his legendary career as a two-time Super Bowl champion.

American History needs a major rework. Much of the best stuff—esp military history—is squirreled away far from the main floors. The primary galleries are full of "cultural history" displays that are moderately interesting but not why anyone comes to the Smithsonian

When the CN crowd comes out online as very pro-AI, or at least anti-anti-AI, you might question why. Look no further.
I’m dead serious when I ask this: has Joel ever actually read a work of Christian theology?
Replying to @JoelWebbon
@JoelWebbon and @Wesley_Todd_ explain how the soul comes from God but also through the bodies of the mother and father, shaped by their "genetic particularities." Therefore, like physical features, the nature of soul and spirit is inherited through lineage, i.e. ethnicity.
