This platform is filled with toxic hate, far right extremists & bullying. I never get to see posts from anyone I follow, and they rarely see mine too. The platform that got me my first book deal is no longer the community it was. Find me on Instagram, same handle. Wildest wishes

I can’t tell you how much I loved Wayfarer by @PhoebeRSmith.
Part memoir, part travel writing, it’s a beautifully written, unflinching and transportive book about walking, grief, self-discovery and healing - I found it a truly cathartic read.
(And the cover is just gorgeous!)

ALT A book is propped up against the wooden arm and back of a chair, which is covered in a blue blankets the book is ‘Wayfarer: Love, loss and life on Britain’s ancient paths’ by Phoebe Smith. The cover is a mix of blues and pinks, and features an illustration of a castle on top of a hill by a coastal bay (reminiscent of Lindisfarne in Northumberland).

.@BBC insisting on reporting racist rioters as 'protestors' and 'demonstrators' is a gross misrepresentation of the violence impacting communities of colour across the UK. Language matters.
“Protests”. You keep saying “protests” @BBCNews - do you mean white supremacists are on the streets terrorising Muslims? What exactly are they “protesting” against?
