We’ve had lots of excellent talks at Physics discussion club, but today has to be one of the best. Ex-student Ben Stockman from @jmurphyandsons came to talk about his engineering career since completing his A-levels (maths, DT, physics) at Churston in 2017. Thank you Ben! @CFGS
@BruceNisbett1 you got a special mention for inspiring Ben while he was at a Churston. 😊
Analysing motion with year 12! @mudd_ed firing a water rocket a year 12 student who forgot to do their HW 😉 #bringingphysicsalive @cfgs #cfgs
This gives us a warm fuzzy happy feeling - more women in Engineering than ever before 🙌💪👩🔬👩💻💥@cfgs @CareersCfgs

Science club today! Well done @RichardK0821 @CFGS @HannahG94997076 (many jelly babies were harmed whilst making this wave machine and sadly did not make it out alive)
What a fantastic discussion club with yr12 Riley and @NickHutton2 professional sailor, talking all things physics and sailing. ⛵️💨☀️@CFGS
We're super excited to welcome @sailgp winner, @americascup @ineosbritannia sailor @NickHutton2 to physics discussion club tomorrow to talk live from Miami about the physics of sailing. Can't wait!! @CFGS @CareersCfgs youtube.com/watch?v=RhKpUYDz…

Uh oh! We are starting to learn about quantum mechanics with yr12 😀
#OTD 1965: "I think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics" Richard Feynman advised against taking an analogical approach to understanding quantum physics.
Whoop we love talking about physics! Please have a listen and enjoy!! The students were fantastic talking about big ideas connected with time ⌛️⏲️⏰🌟 @CFGS
