Coupla old farts on croppys!
Lil dragonfly that landed while I was photographing orchids.
Damn! Full dams at sunset with the hounds! This is our house dam..she full!
Still lotsa orchids around on the farm too. These 4 were within a coupla metres of each other & there’s countless others that have been n gone, & also 6-7 other leaves still to bud & flower. ♥️
Sunday arvo croppy ~ wheat & canola looking great up the top blocks.
You know it’s wet & everything’s full, when the gum trees ain’t even helping with the waterlogging & the dams are that full, they’re flooding the catchment!

Just boarded my flight in Nashville and the whole @SouthwestAir plane is lit up pink, with @DollyParton playing loud on the speakers as we board. 🦋💝 #Dolly – at Nashville, TN
Went to the Big Smoke for a couple of appointments. Hung out at Claremont Jetty a bit…busy lil spot in the afternoon. Fishers, walkers, dog walkers etc galore.
Then heading out towards Brookton on our way home yesterday morning. Bit foggy out there, all the way to Hyden.
NSW adventures for BIL Rob’s 50th. Wombeyan Caves; Bungonia Gorges; the big ram at Goulburn & Cascade from above on the flight home. Great time had by all & warmer there than Espy again!
New wetlands & damage to our creek crossing, at SKIN block (Spend Kids Inheritance Now {in case anyone was wondering about the odd name}) If you zoom in on the creek pic, you may see the mess the water made of our track in..😳😳
Things are a bit damp on our farms, west of Esperance, after 140mls over a coupla days last week. Pete & I were in NSW & missed the action, but got regular updates from the kids on the farm.
Spent the long weekend up the bush with mates, followed by a lil Monday arvo croppy. Things aren’t looking too bad. Bit of wind damage in some sandy spots, but overall, we fared ok.

Paper daisy & paintbrush lily flowers in my garden; pea souper fog & rain showers making cool sky views!
Soupy fog yesty & then a gloomy day to follow.
5.5mls rain here in some brief showers this morning. Very nice.
Bloody mice! We’ve had an influx of the grotty lil beggars over the past month or so. Slowly blocking up the holes with steel wool & catching them in the traps. Frankie thinks they’re fun!
You were right @WestWXWatchers storm went below us! Wicked little cell.
