You could ask the developers of Final Fantasy XIV, who deemed it necessary to re-record Wuk Lamat’s voice lines during the pivotal final battle of Dawntrail’s main scenario quest (among other scenes).
Let’s not be willfully obtuse—this performance was, by its merit, a complete failure and a betrayal of the incredible standard of quality which XIV established as far back as Heavensward.
