I'm Japanese. Watching your midterm results roll in on Tuesday night broke my heart.
Republicans lost ground. A wave of Muslim and radical leftists just won seats across your country.
Since Tuesday, my American friends keep asking me the same question.
How did Japan stay Japan?
In Tokyo, trains leave on the exact second.
Leave your phone on a cafe table, and it is still waiting an hour later. Every year, people in Tokyo turn in over 4 billion yen in lost cash to the police.
We didn't keep this by accident.
When warships forced Japan open in 1853, our ancestors made a vow. Japanese spirit, Western technique.
Take the steel, the railways, and the factories. Leave the self-hatred at the dock.
After 1945, leftists tried to make us hate our history. We refused.
We never let guilt become a state religion the way your universities did. Nobody taught our kids that our ancestors were evil, or that the family was a crime.
Foreigners are still just 3 percent of Japan. When globalists called us closed, we didn't care. We went back to work.
A border isn't just a wall. It is a people who refuse to apologize for who they are.
But you need to hear the second half of our story before it is too late.
Japan kept its culture. Yet we are dying anyway.
In 1949, 2.7 million Japanese babies were born. Last year, it dropped below 700,000.
The left didn't do this to us. Weak conservatives did.
For thirty years, our politicians protected zombie corporations and old voters while crushing young working men. You cannot raise a family on a part-time contract.
When young Japanese stopped having kids, our rural towns simply went quiet and empty.
In America, empty spaces do not stay empty.
Your system priced young Americans out of homes, marriage, and children. Your schools taught them to be ashamed of their own heritage.
At the exact same time, you opened the gates.
You brought in millions from the Islamic world who do not share your values. They have big families, and they have zero intention of assimilating.
They do not apologize for their religion or their culture. They are fiercely proud of it. And they vote as a tribe.
Once that happens, elections stop being about tax cuts.
Elections become a headcount.
A proud culture that has children will always outvote and replace an aging culture that hates itself.
Look at Tuesday night's map. That isn't just a bad midterm cycle. That is your country slipping away in real time.
Stop letting spineless politicians sell out your young people for cheap foreign labor and corporate donors.
You don't save a nation just by praising the past.
You save it by locking the gates, fighting for your own young families, and having children to hand your country to.

No matter what Democrats “say,” NEVER FORGET what they actually DID. This is the real record from just two short years ago:
❌ Inflation record high — hit 9.1% under Democrats.
✅ Today it’s 3.4% under Republicans.
❌ About 20 MILLION illegal aliens entered our country under Democrats.
✅ For a full fiscal year, the number is zero, and the border is secure thanks to Republicans.
❌ Democrats’ defund the police rhetoric and soft on crime policies let criminals off the hook and caused MASSIVE crime spikes in American communities.
✅ Today, the murder rate is at a 120-year low thanks to Republicans.
Republicans have made incredible progress fixing the 4 years of DISASTER Joe Biden and Kamala Harris left behind.
We know the job isn't done, and we'll keep fighting to continue improving the lives of all Americans.

The death of Andrew Wimsatt was a senseless, preventable tragedy.
This is exactly why I am creating a Texas Statewide Prosecutor to keep dangerous repeat offenders behind bars where they belong.
We will protect innocent Texans and prosecute criminals.
Andrew Wimsatt spent his life figuring out how to make things last longer.
Roads, bridges, tunnels, pavement, friendships.
He held three civil engineering degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, spent 18 years at TxDOT, ten of them as Fort Worth District Pavement Engineer, and in 2006 joined the Texas A&M Transportation Institute, where he eventually ran the Materials and Pavements Division and its $9 million annual research program. He worked on ground-penetrating radar, nondestructive testing, asset management.
Describing the work once, he said the real challenge wasn't building new things; it was making what we already have last longer.
Andrew made what we already have last longer.
He was an obsessive live-music fan who would fly across the country to see a band. He loved Slowdive. In 2023 he was recommending "Souvlaki" and "everything is alive" to anyone who'd listen, singled out their cover of Syd Barrett's "Golden Hair," and admitted that when he heard them play it at FYF in 2014, he teared up. In 2016, when bad weather killed Levitation and Slowdive threw together a surprise show at the Scoot Inn, Andrew happened to be sitting at his computer and grabbed two $7.50 tickets in the roughly two minutes before it sold out. Then he recorded the entire set on his iPhone for a friend.
He made music too. He'd been in bands with Karl Rehn since high school, engineered their home cassette recordings in the early 1980s, and in 1990 released "Reflections" under the name the Andrew Wimsatt Ensemble, cut at Sixth Street Studio. He and Rehn made music videos that ran for years on Austin's ACTV, and contributed to the score of a 1994 documentary about Barton Springs.
Then there was the archiving, which is maybe the most Andrew thing about him. He clipped television. Constantly, expertly, for free, for people he admired. The Fifth Column crew (@wethefifth) called him "Busty Wimsatt" and, in their newsletters, "ever-alert," "indefatigable," and at least once "American hero." @MattWelch called him their most devoted cliphawker. Andrew painstakingly uploaded old episodes of "The Independents" so they wouldn't disappear. He clipped @KatTimpf's Fox appearances for her Locals community. He sent @walterkirn clips of Kirn's own jokes.
"Boy did I feel special," Kirn wrote today. "Not many strangers will go out of their way to give another that kind of encouragement."
He was not, for the record, employed by any of these people.
He contributed old photographs to @iowahawkblog's Dave's Car ID Service. He was a fixture in Austin's science fiction community and once drove Howard Waldrop home from Worldcon. He was an executive producer of Penn Jillette and Adam Rifkin's "Director's Cut," and appears in it, briefly, as "Greeting Cop." He hosted a regular libertarian beer gathering at the Johnny Cash-themed bar Mean Eyed Cat. He was, per @JTLonsdale, one of University of Austin’s (@uaustinorg) original small donors. He bought a camouflage "No Step on Snek" hat at a Texas gun show this summer and his friends heard about it.
The man lived.
He lived in Cambridge Towers, a 1965 midcentury modern building near the Capitol. Punk rock, pop surrealism, midcentury furniture, a gentle Southern manner. He loved salt to a degree his friends used as a unit of measurement.
He was, by every single account, one of the kindest people anyone had met.
@greggutfeld: supremely gentle, willing to do just about anything for another person.
@PlanetTyrus: always positive, physically slight, with a monster laugh.
@NancyRomm says he once gave her the jacket off his back when she was getting hypothermic.
A friend of 13 years and dozens of concerts tells me he never once heard Andrew say an unpleasant thing about anyone.
Both his parents were English professors. His father, James, was a Chaucer scholar at UT Austin who died in 2023 at 96. His mother, Mary, took her doctorate at Duke, ran the Society for the Study of Southern Literature, held an endowed chair as McClintock Professor of Southern Letters at South Carolina, wrote the first full-length study of a nineteenth-century novelist almost nobody remembered, and spent five years on a public radio project designed to get ordinary people reading Faulkner and Welty.
His parents spent their careers recovering things other people had stopped reading. They taught their son to make things last longer.
His mother now has Alzheimer's and lives in a nursing home in Round Rock. Andrew helped care for his father at the end, and then her. His routine was to drive out, walk with her, and then take a second walk alone.
He photographed what he saw on his walks. His Instagram is herons -- wading, fishing, one caught mid-wingspan over the water -- plus hawks in bare branches, a squirrel wedged in a tree hollow, a snail on a brick wall, bluebonnets, and a lot of Texas sky at the second it went orange.
Two days before he died, he was at a friend's house for movie night, watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 do "The Crawling Hand."
He spent his whole life trying to make things last longer, and he was good at it, and he was doing it right up to the end -- the second walk of the morning, until he sat on a park bench in the morning sun.
He is survived by his siblings, Alison Ross and David Joseph Wimsatt. And by his mother, who he walked with that morning, and who does not know he isn't coming back next week.

🚨 JUST IN: A SECOND former NBA player — Royce White — is declaring himself eligible for the WNBA, per Fox
"I'm transgender. I identify, sometimes, as a woman, for purposes of basketball."
He joins Enes Kanter Freedom. White is 6 foot 8 at over 260 pounds, INSTANTLY would dominate existing female players 😭
"I'll be declaring for the 2027 WNBA draft."
The only way to stop him? The WNBA HAS TO DEFINE "WOMAN" and BAN males identifying as women.
PURE CHECKMATE!! 😂

Democratic Socialists unveil their new platform ahead of the 2026 midterms
It’s even crazier than just a few weeks ago
- Get rid of for-profit companies
- No one will have many bills because there won’t be for-profit companies
- You can take days off work because you won’t have many bills because they want to end for-profit companies
- Abolish ICE
- End ICE detentions
- End all deportations
- Abolish the Senate
- Abolish the Supreme Court
- More wealth taxes taxes on billionaires
- Expand the Congress that they’ll control
- New justice system that they’ll control
- They say Bernie Sanders is the only popular Senator because he’s a socialist
These people are communists. They want to destroy and bring down America. If they gain momentum, it’s over
People need to understand how dangerous this movement is and take it seriously

I went to In-N-Out and ordered a cheeseburger. The cashier, a calm young woman named Destiny, asked me a question I did not expect.
"You want that Animal Style?"
I paused.
I did not know what this meant. But a samurai does not admit he does not know. So I answered with weight.
"...Animal Style."
"Cool. So that's mustard-grilled, extra spread, grilled onions, pickles. Yeah?"
I understood now. This was a sacred permission. For one meal, I was being told to put down my manners at the door. To eat the way a beast eats, without shame. I had waited my whole life for someone to give me this order.
"Yes," I said. "I will become the animal."
Destiny did not blink. "...Okay. You want your fries Animal Style too?"
I stopped. Even the potatoes?
"The potatoes also become animals?"
"I mean, they get cheese and sauce and grilled onions, so..."
"Then yes. Let the potatoes abandon their restraint as well."
"...Got it." She was the calmest woman I have ever met. "3x3, 4x4, or just the one?"
I did not know these numbers, but I knew a challenge when I heard one. "How many must I face?"
"It's, like, how many patties you want."
"How many is the most honorable?"
"...Four is a lot."
"Then four. A warrior does not ask for fewer."
She wrote it down without argument. A 4x4, Animal Style, with animal fries. She warned me once, kindly. "That's gonna be huge." I told her I was counting on it.
It arrived. It was a tower. Cheese and sauce ran down my hands the moment I lifted it. There was no clean way to eat it. There was no dignified way. That was the entire point.
I ate it like a beast. Both hands, no honor, grilled onion on my chin, and I have to be honest with you, it was the best thing I have ever put in my mouth.
For thirty years I have kept my manners at every table in the world.
They handed me a burger and told me to be an animal, and I have never felt so free.
So tell me, America.
The whole country knows the secret menu. What else are you hiding in plain sight?
And "Animal Style." Was I eating the animal, or finally becoming one?

Activist: "Your cows are putting carbon into the atmosphere."
Farmer: "Where did they get it?"
Activist: "What?"
Farmer: "The carbon. Where did the cow get it before it put it anywhere."
Activist: "From... eating?"
Farmer: "From eating grass. And where did the grass get it."
Activist: "The soil?"
Farmer: "The air. The grass pulled it out of the air last spring. The cow ate the grass. The cow breathed some of it back out. It went back into the air it came from."
Activist: "But it's still going into the atmosphere."
Farmer: "It's going back. There's a difference between a thing going somewhere and a thing going back. You've described a circle and you're frightened of it."
Activist: "Then just don't have the cow."
Farmer: "The grass still dies in autumn. It rots where it falls. The carbon goes back into the air either way, just without anyone getting fed in the middle."
Activist: "It's not that simple."
Farmer: "It's grass, cow, breath, grass. Or it's grass, rot, air, grass. Same circle, fewer dinners. If that's complicated for you I'd stay away from the water cycle. That one's got clouds in it."
