It’s amazing how proud some men are to show off their porn addiction in public.

🚨 BREAKING: A federal judge has DISMISSED Trump’s defamation lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal over its reporting on his alleged birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein.
The judge dismissed the case WITH PREJUDICE, meaning Trump cannot simply refile the lawsuit in the same court.
In a major First Amendment ruling, the judge rejected Trump’s argument that his denials should have prevented the newspaper from publishing its reporting, warning that such a standard would run afoul of the Constitution.
The judge also described the Journal’s reporting as a “thoughtful and detailed investigation” and concluded that Trump’s defamation claims “lack merit.”
The judge left open the possibility that Trump could be ordered to pay the newspaper’s attorneys’ fees.
Trump can appeal, but for now, this is a major legal defeat.

Almost 90% of England's water companies are still acting illegally, still dumping huge amounts of sewage into our environment.
“People are sick of excuses,” screams Dame Angela Eagle. We've heard it all before and yet nothing, nothing changes.
One interesting note "The UK is one of only two countries in the world where the provision of water is fully privatised. The other is Chile, where water privatisation was imposed in the 1980s by a military dictatorship." Hmm? 🤔

These are the "American patriots" and "concerned Europeans" you're talking to on X.
There's no reason to argue with computers. Just block them all and move on.

Peter Mandelson was correctly removed from the Privy Council for bringing it 'into disrepute'.
The same action must now be taken against Matt Hancock, responsible for the generational slaughter in care homes during the pandemic.

This is Lord Rothermere the owner of the Daily Mail.
He lives in a massive mansion in the English countryside, but he pays no tax here because he identifies as French.
While the Daily Mail is registered in Bermuda and pays no tax anywhere.
That is his ‘Patriotism’.

Also notable that, when it was considered in 2022 in the context of that debate there were numerous reasonable arguments made against it:
*That it was against free speech
*That it might influence MPs to change their words to avoid a trigger warning
*That it could create an impression of bias in the parliamentary record
*That it was against the very basic principals of a liberal democracy.
And yet yesterday it happened for the first time ever in our history. And no one said a word. And I think that’s *interesting*

It’s not coincidental that the ONLY time trigger warnings have been suggested previously was regarding a debate on trans prisoners in 2022.
No other issue / event has been afforded that consideration. Not genocide, not infant deaths, not terrorism. Nothing.

I genuinely think we’re underestimating the significance of this.
I’m willing to be corrected, but according to AI, not a single democracy in the world allows trigger warnings into the parliamentary record.
There are recognised, established rules on permissible language. But that’s it.
And yet yesterday they broke with 223 years of established convention without a thought.
So is it now the rule and will we see trigger warnings everywhere?
Or has an exception been made specifically for “this” and if so, why?

The more I think about this, the more I think it’s not just seriously wild, it’s seriously wrong. It’s Parliament, our collective forum, suddenly adopting a hierarchy of hurt feelings and distress. @CommonsSpeaker this is not a wise development.

It’s seriously wild that Parliament has heard detailed statements on, amongst other things: the Holocaust, the Omagh bombing, Hillsborough, Aberfan, & the 7/7 terrorist attacks.
But the only time in 200 years they’ve needed a trigger warning was @Jebadoo2 pitching up to tell them it was wrong to sterilise autistic gay teenagers.

How are conversion practices laws working out in other countries?
Watch this episode where @HJoyceGender interviews a mother from Australia.
How can the government look at the medical scandal of the Tavistock and WellBN and think "I know, let's criminalise the whistleblowers" ?
“These laws are about control. They’re about groupthink and making people think only one way.”
@HJoyceGender speaks to Tess Hackett, an Australian mother estranged from her trans-identifying daughter, on life under Australia’s state conversion-practices bans.
As the UK scrutinises its draft Conversion Practices Bill, here’s what such laws mean in practice.

I think we all deserve an answer to this @EdwardJDavey Why did @mariecgoldman leave after only one half of the evidence? @BinTheBill_ #BinTheBill
Is it usual for a member of a scrutiny committee to hear only one side of oral evidence then leave?
Do both sides not deserve the respect of listening to them?
Was she bored, have an appointment, need a long lunch hour.
We should be informed.

Gendered Intelligence is telling service providers that they can still allow men into women's services as long as they describe them as "single-gender" instead of "single-sex".
This is known as the "Hampstead Ponds gambit" and it will be tested in court next week.
Sex Matters is going to court on 3rd and 4th of November. The case is about the meaning of a black-and-white sign, and the black-and-white law behind it.
