I argue Amber does via her ice skating prowess. Ezra is more of a novice for sure. But Connor’s learning curve is more steep to me than Ezra - the latters limitations are due to his limbs not his musicality. Connor is not as inclined.

The production really wants Connor in the finale. It's just so, so obvious. From Derek's statement about wanting him in the finale to the sudden changes in the scores. They've been trying to get Tatyana eliminated for a while now. That's my conspiracy theory.
