I was starting to get nervous in the 4th quarter but so happy to see ISU get a big win!

Look who’s popping up! Here's to a good week of planting — praying for sunshine, smooth days, and strong starts. #plant25 #IowaCorn

Gotta harvest our rock crop before we can start #Plant25

Thank you @Riley_Gaines_ for coming to Franklin County, Iowa tonight. We can't become complacent. We need to step up and unite together.

School is canceled. Gravel roads are snowy, wet & a mess. So yes, I am that Mom who takes her 14 year old on his learners permit to drive for 30 minutes on crappy roads ☺️ His response when we got done - wasn't too bad... spoken like a true teenager who already knows everything..

🐷 Happy National Pig Day! 🐷 Did you know that one-third of all pigs in the U.S. are raised right here in Iowa? Our state leads the way in pork production, thanks to dedicated farm families (like ours!) and plenty of homegrown corn and soybeans to feed them.

I'm excited to share that our family farm, VIP Farms, is offering Easter Hams for sale through a pre-order at Latimer Grocery! Plus *NEW* on the blog, I'm sharing my favorite way to prepare our holiday hams with a simple, two-ingredient glaze. Check it out cornbeanspigskids.com/2025/0…

There are signs of spring everywhere on the farm this week — including getting our planters ready for corn and soybean planting season that’s less than two months away!

I can't wait for this year's Iowa Eats Festival - April 5 in Waterloo! Vendors booth fee is only $200 and applications are currently being accepted: iowaeatsfestival.com/vendor/

Chores are done, now it’s time to play! ❄️🐶

As someone who loves road-tripping to try each year's Iowa's Best Burger finalists, I can't wait to see which burgers make the top ten this year! Don't miss out and cast your vote today: bit.ly/BBContestVotingLink

Cooper DeJean is having a great birthday so far I'd say!
