On the poll I put up last night; The modern fantasy varflins au would take place in my own setting I've been messing with for YEARS for my ocs called the oddityverse Which is primarily made of my own take on fantasy things that connects together in a modern setting.

For example, I have an entire document on how vampires work and how they are associated with varying elements amd have close ties to Lycanthropy given its a blood curse. Or how Faes have four courts distinctive on the time of day that goes into the cycle of death and rebirth

I have systems for dragons, hybrids, witches and wizards (The two are very distinctly different) But for the varflins au it would primarily focus on: Lycanthropy and the Fae courts. Varka being a werewolf and oddity detective While Flins would be a dullahan

Extremely hot take but, if you can't handle other people's headcanons, AUs, fanarts, fanfics or anything created by fans that differ a tiny bit from the canon or what YOU think is canon, maybe fandom spaces aren't for you.

i think one big issue with fandoms is that they genuinely do not like platonic relationships and will stone you for viewing two characters as friends as if that makes their bond less ‘deep’
