5 years ago the @ajc was talking about how Keisha Lance Bottoms got booed by an entire stadium of Braves fans at the World Series Parade in 2021. I was there and I remember well (photo from my seats as proof)! This was months after she decided to quit her job as Mayor and not run again. We cannot afford to elect someone who abandoned the economic capital of the Southeast. Who allowed crime to rise to an all time high. No matter who much the local news stations try to pivot how they cover and write about her. We must elect the man who has vowed to never abandon us @RickJacksonGA 🇺🇸
Joe Simpson made a little dig at MLB commissioner Rob Manfred and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms was greeted with a smattering of boos. But Billye Aaron, the widow of the Braves legend, was welcomed with a standing ovation.

Mike Collins took over the House ports subcommittee and found ships leaving Brunswick half loaded. Now he says the port is fully dredged, and Audi is bringing about 4,500 jobs to Georgia. Results over talk. Send Mike Collins to the Senate. 🇺🇸

Widespread precipitation in the form of rain and thunderstorms will overspread most of the eastern half of the USA over the next week. Some of these NBM totals seem high, but something to watch as the leftover shortwave moves east. Also I expect SPC to introduce SEVERE probabilities in the Monday/Tuesday time frame once a confidence for such is established. @PivotalWeather @weathermodels_

It takes a special kind of evil to vandalize the 9/11 Memorial. Nearly 3,000 innocent Americans were murdered on September 11. Now some anti-American radical has used their memorial to push a political agenda. The 9/11 Memorial is SACRED GROUND. This is absolutely vile.

What is happening in this country goes beyond politics. Communists and Islamists are trying to conquer the United States. Look around.

We have to make sure the lunatics on the other side of the aisle never acquire power again. Because I want my kids to grow up in a country they actually recognize.

Amazing how many failed MSNBC hosts are given platforms on Abby's show.
JENNINGS: The President is in charge of the military, is he not? TOURE: [Silenced deer in the headlights look] It's amazing CNN let someone this clueless onto their network to debate Scott Jennings. Pure comedy.

🚨BREAKING: Democrat-Appointed Member of the Forsyth County Board of Elections Celebrates Attacker Who Used Explosives Against Atlanta’s ICE Office. The Forsyth County Republican Party Demands Her Resignation.🚨 On October 20th, a terrorist launched Molotov cocktails at the Atlanta office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Fortunately, no one was injured. Unfortunately, this attack was not an aberration. It follows a pattern of violence by left-wing activists. There have been multiple attacks on ICE personnel, and the White House documented 57 instances of Democrat elected officials declaring “war” on the agency. I published a Facebook status condemning violence against ICE and calling on lawmakers of both parties to refrain from incendiary rhetoric. Instead, Democrats replied with comments celebrating such violence. One of these commenters, Anne Blair, wrote “Hope the cocktail is okay.” If there were any doubts about the intent behind that statement, her Facebook cover photo is a picture of a Molotov cocktail on fire. Anne Blair does not hold any position of local authority. However, her comment was liked by Anita Tucker, a Democrat-appointed member of the Forsyth County Board of Voter Registrations and Elections. Our elections are the most fundamental aspect of our democracy. It is unconscionable that someone responsible for overseeing elections in Forsyth County believes that violence is justified against her political opponents. By celebrating the destruction of federal property and the assault of federal officers, Anita Tucker has demonstrated that she is unfit for any position of responsibility in this county, especially one which involves securing the outcome of our elections. For this reason, the Forsyth County Republican Party unequivocally demands her resignation so that the Forsyth County Democrats can appoint a replacement who is able to guarantee the safety and security of all voters. Earlier this month, FCRP adopted a resolution advocating for both parties to “resolve our differences through open discourse and the ballot box.” We requested that the Forsyth County Democrats sign that statement alongside us, but they declined. Now, our Democrat counterparts are faced with yet another opportunity to reject political violence. We hope that they will make the right decision and join us in calling for Anita Tucker’s resignation. #gapol #georgia #forsythcountyga #elections

There’s a huge election happening right now in my former state of Georgia—the AG position. It’s absolutely essential with the rampant crime in and around Atlanta. We can’t keep letting Atlanta crime spread! It’s ugly. I’ve seen it, up close and personally. The candidates are Republican Brian Strickland vs. Democrat Tanya Miller. Tanya Miller is a Democratic state representative, attorney, and former prosecutor with a focus on homicide and sex-crime cases. She has represented Georgia House District 62 since January 2023 and serves as chair of the House Democratic Caucus. She’s not the one! Brian Strickland has highlighted endorsements from more than 100 elected law enforcement officials! She voted NO on the Laken Riley Act. She ran DuBose Miller, a private criminal-defense firm, while serving as a part-time prosecutor for the Fulton County Solicitor. As a Fulton prosecutor, her private firm took serious felony clients from the county. The dual role is not disclosed in her campaign materials. In April 2022, she said police “enjoy a lot of deferential treatment in our justice system,” and that she favors marijuana legalization. In March 2023, she called bills restricting surgeries on minors “ill-informed and grossly uneducated,” and compared those surgeries to cancer treatment. In April 2022, she called Ketanji Brown Jackson “the most accomplished jurist on the Supreme Court.” In August 2024 she said, “I certainly am a big fan of Joe Biden, the president — Uncle Joe — as we call him in our family. She is not the answer for crime-ridden Atlanta. Not even close. Vote Brian Strickland! Please share.

We are going to have plenty of CAPE next Wednesday afternoon and evening especially for the so called second season severe time. Cape pushing 850 j/kg is significant. The lightning flash density product indicates the storms will be energetic. Will we have everything come together for severe? It's possible but timing might be the key if the storms move in after dark. We have a week to watch the development of all the ingredients. We ARE going to get rain and it could be rather heavy in the storms. #CHAwx #HUNwx #RMGwx #gawx #alwx #tnwx

Two NBM outputs. 1. After the rain Saturday night and Sunday. 2. The end of the NBM run after the strong system midweek moves through adding more precip to the picture. Heavy rainfall is possible especially with the second system and even some strong to severe could be in the works Wednesday. Just have to watch future data.

NOVEMBER: Checking in on the latest temperature and precipitation forecasts from the ECMWF weeklies. Lots of uncertainty, but big expectations centered on sub-tropical jet stream and return of impactful precipitation east of the Rockies over the next 3-4 weeks.

I want you to go to any mosque in Atlanta during prayer and tell them you’re an openly gay man looking for a place to pray. Report back to us how that goes. Give me a heads up and I’ll send someone to video it.
Replying to @KandissTaylor
Already voted for her, Kandiss! 💙🇺🇸🍑 Also, if anyone is going to spew anti-Muslim bigotry online, at least have the courage to put your real name and face behind your words. Hiding behind an anonymous account while attacking your Muslim neighbors isn’t bravery. It’s cowardice. Religious freedom applies to EVERYONE. Period.

Keisha Lance Bottoms promises to 'guarantee pre-k.' Georgia already offers free pre-K to every 4-year-old in all 159 counties, per DECAL. Bold plan. We've had it for decades. xitter.cf/i/status/2115096805293…
Keisha Lance Bottoms knows what's possible — and as governor she's going to get to work to guarantee pre-k, expand Medicaid, and bring down costs for Georgians. Let’s make Georgia better for the next generation by electing Keisha for governor, vote by November 3.

The guy on the left somehow got fired from CNN… The gal in the middle got fired from ESPN SportsCenter. And the gal on the right is a TikTok creator. Your winning trio of the day!
On Don Lemon's show today, a guest shared her thoughts on Nicki Minaj backing President Trump: "Now you see people like Nicki Minaj who made an awful lot of money in hip-hop aligning themselves comfortably with white supremacy." Disagree with the left and you're a white supremacist. Even if you're Nicki Minaj.
