It’s the only thing they will be able to possess… maybe that will incentivize them to throw up a wall of defense to protect the protocol… a cyber shield
What an interview!

Thank you, @SecretService, and all the agencies and industry partners involved. You acted within minutes to help track and freeze stolen funds, and the work continues.
Your speed, expertise, and dedication helped contain the damage and reduce the risk of potential ripple effects across crypto and, may I say, even the broader financial markets.
Deeply grateful. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Said it better than I did.
Become a #lunarpunk Anon. Run a AI ready Bitcoin node.
Use your ram to secure your digital sovereignty.
Maintain your digital hygiene by running a nextcloud on your node.
Running a web5 node is one of the most moral things you can do today.
Sam Altman just told you local inference is terrible.
Of course he fucking did. He sells the cloud.
He wants every prompt you write to go through his servers.
His prices. His rules. His logs.
He decides which model you get today and what it refuses to do.
You do not control any of it.
That is exactly why local inference has to win.
Every model running on your own computer is one less user he controls.
Every open weights release makes his pitch weaker.
So now the pitch is that RAM in your own computer is a waste of the world's supply.
I run DeepSeek, Qwen and GLM on my 4x 3090 every day.
Nobody reads my chats. Nobody changes my model overnight. Nobody can switch it off.
Honestly, this quote is the best ad for local AI I have seen all year.
Fuck your cloud, Sam. Run it at home.

TREZOR WARNS CUSTOMERS TO MOVE FUNDS AFTER HARDWARE IMPLANT DISCOVERED IN WALLET SOLD BY FORMER AUTHORIZED RESELLER
Trezor has issued an urgent security warning after receiving a credible report of a malicious hardware implant inside a Trezor Safe 5 purchased from CryptoBilis, its former authorized reseller in Southeast Asia.
The device, purchased in Indonesia through Tokopedia in August, reportedly contained an additional circuit board installed between the main board and screen, equipped with a cellular module and antenna.
According to the report, the implant can read information displayed on the wallet’s screen, including the recovery seed phrase, and transmit it to attackers over a mobile network whenever the device is plugged in.
Trezor has not yet physically examined the device but says photos and a video interview with the customer were convincing enough to warrant an immediate warning.
The discovery follows a sophisticated supply-chain attack involving Ledger wallets sold through the same reseller, which Ledger began investigating on October 9.
Trezor removed CryptoBilis as an authorized reseller that day.
The company is now urging anyone who purchased ANY Trezor model from CryptoBilis since March 2026 to immediately transfer their funds to a new wallet with a newly generated recovery seed.
Simply restoring the potentially compromised seed phrase on another device will NOT protect the funds.
Trezor says no customer losses have been reported in connection with the suspected implant. The company is offering affected buyers free replacement devices or vouchers and is working with Ledger and security investigators.
The identity of the attackers remains unknown, and there are currently no reports involving other Trezor resellers.
This is difficult to watch, but each of us must not only watch it, but grapple with the truths we come to know within ourselves.
There is nothing to fear but fear itself. Let’s f’n go light warriors!
Made Bitcoin 100x harder to crack for a quantum attacker. Stupid simple: force it to solve 100 keys instead of one within 10 min block time.
No fork, no new opcodes, no direct-to-miner relay.
Multisig was designed to distribute trust, we reuse it to multiply the computational work required to forge a Bitcoin spend.
Runs on Bitcoin Core today.

NEW: On Friday, dockworkers at 111 ports in 22 countries and regions on five continents will stop work in a coordinated strike against war, according to the most recent information from the organizing unions.
More than 25 dockworkers’ unions have now signed on, from Marseille to Mumbai, Hamburg to Montevideo, Melbourne to Oakland. Days ago the count stood at about 100 ports in 17 countries, and that figure doesn’t include the dozens of unions in other sectors that have pledged support. Their demand is simple: no weapons and no military cargo through their ports. Nearly everything the world ships passes through the docks, and without the workers who load and unload it, nothing moves.
In France, the main dockers’ union says the country’s ports will be 95% shut. Italy, India, Greece and Turkey face 24-hour strikes, and Morocco and Cyprus will see stoppages of up to two hours, with rallies planned in port cities around the world. In Greece, metalworkers, ship-repair workers and young people are joining the dockers, and in the US, ILWU Local 10 is striking in Oakland and San Francisco. The unions are working from the Istanbul Declaration, signed in May, with each one deciding for itself how to take part. They are also fighting for their own jobs, against cuts from automation and for contracts, raises, shorter hours and safety.
The unions point to escalating wars in Ukraine and the Middle East and the danger of a generalized war. They condemn Israel’s new crimes in Hebron, carried out with the backing of the US, NATO and the EU. Israel’s lockdown of the city is now in its sixth day, with more than 3,000 Palestinians displaced, according to the UN. Palestinian unions have endorsed Friday’s action.
In Italy, the fight has spilled beyond the docks. The union USB has called for a nationwide general strike. Last night, the Italian government ordered transport workers back on the job last night. USB said it would defy the order and accept the steep penalties.
The unions are calling on workers and young people everywhere to stand with the dockworkers, saying “Ports for peace and the peoples, not launching pads for war.”
I’m reporting from Calabria, Italy, and I will be in Genoa tomorrow ahead of the strike to report on the ground during the mobilzation.
