We sat down with @MythicOwlGames to talk about bringing cozy courier life, folk horror, and a living watercolor aesthetic together into one package
While early builds leaned more demanding, player feedback from Steam Next Fest helped steer the studio toward adding accessibility options like Story Mode and truck upgrades without compromising on atmospheric tension
- Hand-painted visuals draw directly from Studio Ghibli, Gravity Falls, and the sunlit agricultural landscapes of the Polish countryside
- The audio-visual presentation was designed like a moving canvas, framing scenic routes specifically to encourage players to pull over for screenshots
- The menacing Ghost Truck takes direct inspiration from Steven Spielberg's classic thriller Duel
- Upgrades like Sticky Cargo keep packages glued to the truckbed for players who want a gentler drive
