#ThrowBackThursday to my audition video for @bp22’s @thirstlounge 10 project. 😄There is definitely some cheesiness to it but this was my 1st attempt at creating content outside of streaming and poker vids. Thanks for being a part of this journey that started with this vid 🙏🏽

STORY TIME 📖 Back in 2019 while in the @ThirstLounge I won a $30k Bahamas package from a $160 buy-in. I had $3k to my name going into the Runitup Reno series then, and had to sell action to feel comfortable playing the events I wanted to. I’m not exactly sure why I played this satty event, but it had to have been cuz I wanted to push myself to see “what if”. I’m proud of my old self for taking shots like this and putting myself out there. What business did I have playing a 25k back then? 😄 DREAMER The final table was crazy and you can actually watch it back now if you wanted to, its on YT. I had crazy yellow/green hair then, off the back of losing some challenge in the Virgin Islands. 1st was the $30k package, and 2nd was $11k. $11k would have been more immediately impactful in my life, so I went into HU play with an “I dont care what happens mindset”. Got it in bad a couple times versus a player who was exponentially better than me, and Max eventually fell. This moment was so cool for me, having it live streamed on Twitch, so many people who watched my streams from 2015-2019 were there in the chat supporting me. I had the TL crew and more on the live rails. Gosh, such good memories man. Chokes me up a lil honestly thinking back haha. Also, After winning the very 1st @CMONEYMAKER North American tour event, back when he was with Stars - I got to meet Chris for the 1st time. Even though I want to say something funny and witty about how its been downhill since with Chris, I cant 😄 Its a really cool memory even though Chris probably doesn’t remember. On second thought… Nevermind, what a bum that guy is! A N Y W A Y… This package I won was originally supposed to be to go play a high roller in Spain with stars, but COVID happened and this package got pushed back a few years. The event got moved from Spain to the Bahamas when it finally happened in i think 2023. While in the Bahamas I got to meet so many of the biggest names in poker. Lex and Johnny Bax come to immediate mind for me. I didnt end up cashing the event, but getting to see poker on that level, in that grand setting, with all the whos who of poker players, the presentation, the palm treess and beach… CORE MEMORY UNLOCKED 🔓 This is the whole moral of this story: 👉🏽 Life is about experiences. Period. When we are laying on our deathbed one day, we are going to access these core memories and the dividends will be worth it. (Die with Zero inspired) thanks @bp22 love ya brother, youve done so much for me and so many others. Now here I am saying to all you dreamers out there… SEEK EXPERIENCES, PUSH YOURSELF TO UNCOMFORTABLE SPACES & SEEK GROWTH, HAVE UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCES. I would not be where I am in life if I didn’t take these shots at life experiences.
