BREAKING: United CEO Scott Kirby, during the Q3 earnings call, says customers are switching airlines solely for @Starlink and staying with United. “Starlink, a new and truly differentiating RASM tailwind in 2027. Today, about half of United departures are on Starlink-equipped aircraft, but we offer more Starlink flights than the entire U.S. airline industry combined. Importantly, we're seeing evidence that Starlink is a motivating factor for customers to choose which airline they fly. That's why we launched a new tracker so people can check that their flight has it and can follow along as we outfit our fleet. It's hard to get brand-loyal customers to switch airlines. Customers who are brand-loyal to other airlines and have flown them for years switch to a United flight solely because of Starlink."
