📊 New: Live Latency Dashboard We've just launched our real-time latency dashboard! You can now view live p50, p95, and p99 latency metrics across the PolyVPN network and see exactly what performance looks like at any given moment. We believe transparency matters, so instead of just telling you we're fast, we're showing you the data in real time.

Polymarket just validated the latency thesis. Their infrastructure page now openly recommends direct co-location in eu-west-2 for the lowest possible latency to their matching engine. The catch: you have to submit a KYC/KYB form and wait for approval. poly-vpn.xyz delivers the same eu-west-2 proximity over a WireGuard tunnel — no KYC, no forms, no approval queue. Drop in a config and you're co-located. poly-vpn.xyz

"Selling" doesn't exist on Polymarket. Conditional tokens have two primitives: split (lock 1 USDC → mint 1 YES + 1 NO) and merge (burn 1 YES + 1 NO → unlock 1 USDC). A complete set is always worth exactly 1, which is where p(YES) + p(NO) = 1 comes from. So selling 1 YES at P is identical to: buy 1 NO at (1−P), then merge. Pay (1−P), get 1 back, net P received, YES gone. Same trade. That's why the CLOB has no separate YES/NO books. The matching engine cross-fills: two buyers on opposite sides whose prices sum to ≥1 get filled via a fresh split; two sellers summing to ≤1 get filled via merge. "Sell YES at P" and "buy NO at (1−P)" sit in the same pool. The real spread on a market is best YES bid + best NO bid. If that's 0.99, spread is 1 cent — regardless of how either token's own book looks. Selling is a UX abstraction. Underneath, every exit is buy-the-complement + merge.

There's a Polymarket account called kingofcoinflips. $805,957 in all-time profit. 3,244 predictions. Biggest single win: $69,800. Active positions right now across BTC, ETH and SOL - $4,000 to $25,000 per bet. The name sounds like gambling. The strategy is anything but. What The Bot Actually Does Kingofcoinflips trades exclusively in short-duration crypto binary markets - 15-minute and daily BTC, ETH and SOL UP/DOWN bets. It doesn't predict where price is going. It doesn't need to. Polymarket resolves its crypto markets against external price feeds - Chainlink aggregations that update roughly once per second. Binance and Coinbase update in milliseconds. There is a permanent, structural lag between what the spot market is doing and what Polymarket's resolution feed reflects. When Bitcoin moves decisively in a direction, the spot market knows immediately. Polymarket's implied probabilities take a few hundred milliseconds to catch up - sometimes longer. In that window, a binary option that should be priced at 95 cents is still sitting at 70 cents. The bot sees the Binance move, calculates the new fair value, and hits the mispriced Polymarket contract before the market makers can reprice. No prediction. Just arbitrage between two data feeds running at different speeds. Why The Win Rate Is So High This isn't a 55% edge being ground out over thousands of trades. When the signal is clean - a decisive directional move on spot with a clear lag in Polymarket pricing - the trade is close to risk-free. You're not betting on direction. You're betting that a price feed catches up to reality. It always does. The trades that lose are the ones where price reverses in the lag window, or where the market maker reprices before the bot can fill. Those are execution failures, not model failures. Which is exactly why latency is everything here. Why London Matters For This Strategy Every millisecond between seeing the Binance move and getting the Polymarket order filled is a millisecond in which a market maker can reprice, or another bot can take the same trade first. Polymarket's CLOB is in London. The bot racing to fill a mispriced contract needs to get its order to that matching engine as fast as possible. A bot running from Amsterdam or Ireland is making a round trip that a London-based bot isn't. On a strategy where the entire edge exists in a sub-second window, that round trip is not a rounding error. This is the same reason kingofcoinflips is running position sizes of $4,000–$25,000 per trade. The edge is real but it closes fast - you need to size aggressively when you have it, and you need infrastructure that gets you filled before the window shuts. poly-vpn.xyz puts your bot in London - same city as the CLOB, same playing field as the accounts doing $800K in profit.
