Farmers with sheep managing through drought times. @lucybarbour Just saying. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Let’s retweet the positives and not get bogged down in the media portrayal of the drought. Nice work Guys. 👍👍

Lambs weaned and ewes off paddocks in drought confinement lots . 350 per pen takes 3mins to feed them all with grain plus a straw bale every 4 days or so 1kg barley every seccond day ! Much easier than chasing them over the farm to feed not to mention the benefit to groundcover

FYI peeps/Tweeps. See link. 👍 riverina.lls.nsw.gov.au/reso… Feeding in a dust bowl is often unnecessary given the Government funded drought lots? Many good operators using them. 👍 Some understandably can’t for different reasons. @lucybarbour 🤷🏻‍♂️

FYI Containment feeding or Drought lots are essential and have been around for ten years at least. Hungry stock will burn more energy walking looking for feed that’s not in the paddock they’re roaming rather than eat, sleep, drink in a shady pen. Less dust too. @AlexanderIngold

Hopefully we can get these back to work today...50mm gave us a rest/maintenance break and will get the boom wheels turning too chasing the headers, canola has reshot already.

Cutting canola. Nice going, contract Windrowing job for a neighbor. Not ours but we did sow this paddock for him on the 10th April. Amazing what can be done despite the season. #winning

Hey Jock? Here’s an idea for a hay flufferuppera. Much neater than a 851 Baler 👍😂😂😂

East West seeding. 👎 Stubble shading had a significant impact on the canola plants growing on the southern side of the old wheat stubble rows. Failed crop in many ways. East West seeding suppresses weed seed set, it clearly suppresses crop yield too. @KedarJoel @grassrootsag

Replying to @Qantas
@Qantas @dollysdream_aus @troysetter @sokitomi @darryn_browne @rftte We know that qantas paint and name some of their Boeing jets from time to time. How good would it be if Qantas jumped onboard and painted their next jet with the Dolly’s Dream logo #stopbullying
