امرأة بيضاء سافرت إلى جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية لدراسة الحضارة الأفريقية وبينما وهو منهكة في العمل تعرفت على شاب أسود وتطورت العلاقة بسرعة من علاقة صداقة إلى حب وتم بينهم علاقة جنـ.ـسـيـ.ـة وبعد مرور شهر بدأ يظهر عليها بعض الأعراض الغريبة فذهبت إلى طبيب هناك فاكتشفت أنها حامل فعلم أهلها فطالبوها بإجهاض الطفل فورا لأنهم لا يقبلون بسلالة سود في العائلة لكنها رفضت وأنجبت الطفل الأول وأصبحت حامل في الطفل الثاني..
