The demoralization of the West is reflected mainly in two phenomena: open borders and the falling birth rate. The latter leaves the infamous welfare state on the brink of collapse. LONG LIVE FREEDOM, DAMN IT...!!

A large percentage of the American population has fallen into an all-encompassing rabbit hole of Russian disinformation, an alternate reality, designed to keep the U.S paralyzed as a Russian-backed anti-democracy movement advances globally. A woman explains that there's no war in Ukraine.

Do “woman” and “women-only” include men who claim to be women under Australian law? A straightforward question. An extraordinary amount of evasion from Sex Discrimination Commissioner Anna Cody. Women deserve clear answers – and spaces of our own. 📣 It’s time to #FixTheSDA: womensforumaustralia.org/Fix… #Auspol

Highlight reel of Australia’s sex discrimination commissioner, the custodian of women’s rights, saying utter nonsense. It could on for hours but we’ve all got lives to lead so here’s 3 minutes.

🚨 Chinese president Xi Jinping speaks on Kylian Mbappé's controversy with Chinese media 🇨🇳🇫🇷 🗣️ Xi Jinping: “Footballers must be educated about politics, international relations, and the importance of respecting other nations before they speak publicly. “Being a talented footballer does not mean you understand everything happening in the world. “Players must learn that their words can have consequences beyond the football pitch. “Ignorance is not an excuse when your actions risk offending millions of people. “If you represent your country, you must understand that your behaviour reflects more than just your personal image. “Footballers have millions of followers, and their influence comes with serious responsibility. “You cannot expect people to respect your position while showing no interest in understanding their concerns. “Before making jokes about another nation, take the time to understand its culture, history, and values. “Freedom of expression is important, but so is understanding the consequences of what you say. “We cannot allow fame and wealth to become excuses for ignorance. “Being young does not mean you should be free from criticism when you make a mistake. “Education should not stop when a footballer signs a professional contract. “Clubs must teach their players about cultural sensitivity and international affairs. “Representing a global club means interacting with people from different backgrounds and beliefs. “You cannot travel around the world, enjoy the support of millions, and then pretend that other people's feelings do not matter. “Every player must understand that respect works in both directions. “We are not asking footballers to become politicians, but we expect them to understand the world they live in. “If you are influential enough to shape public opinion, you should be responsible enough to choose your words carefully. “An apology may repair some damage, but education can prevent the same mistake from happening again. “Football brings nations together, and players should never forget the responsibility that comes with that privilege. “Talent can make you a superstar, but knowledge, discipline, and respect determine how you are remembered.”

Labor’s Digital Duty of Care bill has passed the House. If the Senate waves it through, saying “men can’t be women” could get posts like this one taken down ❌ I’ll be opposing the bill, because like you, I know men can’t be women.

LEGAL ACTION AGAINST SENATOR NICK McKIM & THE GREENS ACCEPTED BY AUSTRALIAN HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION The Australian Human Rights Commission has formally accepted my legal complaint against Senator Nick McKim and the Australian Greens under sections 18C and 18E of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975. The complaint concerns Senator McKim's public statement that the Australian Government had been “captured by Zionist interests”. Jeremy Leibler, President of the Zionist Federation of Australia, warned McKim that his words invoked an ancient antisemitic trope: Jews secretly controlling governments and political institutions. A vile conspiracy theory notoriously propagated by Nazi Germany. Following the Bondi massacre, in which 15 innocent people were murdered at a Jewish Chanukah celebration, such language is particularly dangerous. Rather than apologise, withdraw his words and lower the temperature, Senator McKim deliberately repeated the allegation, declaring it “the truth”. The Greens have been here before. NSW Greens MP Jenny Leong previously apologised after her remarks about the “Jewish and Zionist lobby” and its “tentacles” reaching into positions of influence prompted a Human Rights Commission complaint. A Zionist is a person. Criticising beliefs is fundamentally different from vilifying the people who hold them. As Justice Nettle emphasised in Catch the Fire Ministries Inc v Islamic Council of Victoria Inc [2006] VSCA 284 [34]: “It is essential to keep the distinction between the hatred of beliefs and the hatred of their adherents steadily in view.” Criticising Israel or Zionism can constitute legitimate political debate. But political debate does NOT provide immunity for racial vilification through antisemitic stereotypes. The NSW Court of Appeal confirmed in Jarrett v State of New South Wales [2026] NSWCA 62 [104] that laws addressing racial hatred, incitement and violence continue to apply even at authorised public protests. Freedom of political communication is NOT a licence to break the law. My complaint concerns Senator McKim’s deliberate republication of his words outside Parliament. The Australian Human Rights Commission has formally accepted the complaint for consideration. Australia has witnessed an alarming escalation in antisemitism, culminating in the Bondi massacre. The horrific attack on Dr Helen Haines MP has also raised serious concerns about political violence. Australia does NOT lack laws to confront racial hatred or political violence. It lacks the consistent enforcement of those laws and accountability when they are ignored. If governments and police will not enforce existing laws, I will continue to seek accountability through the legal system. No politician - and no member of the public - is above the law. @theage @australian @theheraldsun @dailytelegraph @couriermail @HobartMercury @thenightlyau @aus_jewishnews @abcnews @SBSNews @smh @DailyMail @AlboMP @AngusTaylorMP @PaulineHansonOz

🇫🇷 The French Senate has passed the “Rioters Pay” bill, making rioters financially liable for damages during public demonstrations. They can be ordered to pay up to €10,000 ($11,000) for property damage, even if they did not personally commit the vandalism. Liability covers anyone who “knowingly participated” in a group formed to vandalize, or who stayed after two police dispersal warnings. Social media platforms must remove content inciting violence, vandalism, or insurrection within 24 hours of an authority request, or face blocking and delisting. To recover unpaid damages, the state can seize parts of social benefits, including family allowances, housing assistance, supplements, and France’s minimum-income benefit.

Mao Zedong was certainly a dictator, French footballer Kylian Mbappé was right about that, but the label still feels inadequate for a man who was responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of Chinese. He was a mass murderer, one of the worst tyrants of the twentieth century, in a super-league alongside the likes of Hitler, Stalin and Pol Pot. When he died in 1976, after endless and barbaric campaigns and purges, his legacy was a traumatised and impoverished land of fear and paranoia. Mbappé's jokey comments were not about this brutal history, but the result of an internet meme, a video circulating online that placed his face on images of Mao. '[The meme] that makes me laugh the most, it's the one where there's a video of a guy, I think it's a Chinese dictator,' he said on a podcast interview. ✍️ Ian Williams Article | spectator.com/article/why-th…
