✍️ So how good is the Baylor job, and who could be the next coach? Good facilities, decent money and some questions. The job profile and names to watch (free link: nytimes.com/athletic/7727224…

While I believe moving on from Dave Aranda was the right decision for Baylor football, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for his leadership and the way he represented our University. Regardless of the results on the field, Coach Aranda carried himself with class, integrity, and humility. He was a tremendous steward of Baylor University and embodied the values that make this institution special. I’ll always be grateful for the unforgettable 2021 season, which was the perfect way to cap off my senior year at Baylor. Thank you for everything, @CoachDaveAranda. Wishing you nothing but success in your future endeavors.

I talked to former Kansas State coach Chris Klieman earlier this year about Joe Klanderman: "Joe is going to be a head coach. I don’t know when it’s going to happen; it’s got to be the right situation. But Joe is built to be a head coach and run his own program." Klanderman is now Baylor's interim head coach after Dave Aranda was fired. wacotrib.com/sports/college/…

This is the best thing I’ve found regarding the attendance. Look at the list compiled of other teams around the country that are struggling to fill up their stadiums. This is an epidemic around the country and more than just college football. Everything cost way too much.
People can LOL at Stanford right now, but we are heading towards attendance issues across the board if changes aren’t made. Too many TV TOs/dead time/ prices for parking etc/ it’s becoming a TV product…. The regular season will look like the bowl season that’s about to die.

this (including the mix of mlb, milb, and indy ballparks) is my dream. god bless
A New Jersey-based fan named Rev Ciancio visited 77 different ballparks this season. At each one, he would get a hot dog with mustard, eat it after “Take Me Out to the Ballgame,” and grade it. Here are his top 10: 10. Joliet Slammers (National Association of Professional Baseball): A “rock solid” offering. 9. Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs (Triple-A PHI): “Exactly what a ballpark hot dog is supposed to taste like.” 8. Sussex County Miners (National Association of Professional Baseball): “They’re the only team that I’ve been to that has a ripper, where they’re actually deep-frying the hot dog.” 7. Albuquerque Isotopes (Triple-A COL): “It’s almost foul to highlight how good the hot dog was because there’s so much good there.” 6. Boston Red Sox: “This is one of the Major League stadiums where the lore of the hot dog holds true.” 5. Richmond Flying Squirrels (Double-A SF): “It was just a well-rounded hot dog. Like there was magic and you don’t know why.” 4. Brooklyn Cyclones (High-A NYM): “It’s part of their culture to have a good hot dog.” 3. Chicago Cubs: “I feel like Chicago teams have a right and a duty to produce good hot dogs.” 2. Chicago Dogs (American Association): The poppyseed bun was an “ingredient difference maker.” 1. Reading Fightin Phils (Double-A Phillies): “When you eat a hot dog at Reading, it’s as though every single hot dog was individually cooked. One person took one hot dog and made sure it was perfect.” Read about Ray here: atmlb.com/4sjmoGx
