The squid is coming for every bridge 🦑🔥
I made this @ikadotxyz film with @ViggleAI and honestly I can't stop rewatching it.
Here's why I'm this loud about Ika:
Bridgeless Capital Markets.
dWallets let a Solana app sign on Bitcoin or any chain directly.
No bridge. No wrapped tokens. No custodian.
2PC-MPC means your key share plus the network. It takes two.
Bridges have been crypto's weakest link for years. Ika just deletes the problem.
And Viggle turning an idea into a cinematic short like this? What a time to be building.
Which chain's native assets do you want to control from Solana first?
Not financial advice.

Midway through the code review, we found some INSANE upgrades we can add to the contracts here, so are delaying for a week - this is going to enable so much for holders, we couldn't justify not waiting.
28th of October! 🚀

whatever your requirements are, @ikadotxyz has the best setup to enable it
it’s about optionality and maximizing security, user experience and performance based on your preferences / requirements
if you require absolute self-custody, an “imported key dWallet” beats a seed phrase on both security and ux
if you are ok with requiring ika as the second signer (ika can’t sign by itself, and you can also become a signer on ika yourself it’s permissionless!) than a “zero-trust dWallet” beats any other mpc solution on security and ux and performance
if you are ok with fully trusting ika so actions can be autonomous, a “public user share dWallet” beats any other custodial mpc network on both security and performance
so it’s very versatile and flexible infra that you can use based on your specific requirements

Featuring @d3h3d_, the co-founder of @ikadotxyz, and @illuminfti from the Ika team
“What if your Bitcoin never had to leave Bitcoin to be used on Solana?”
This week we’re talking Bridgeless Capital Markets on Solana. We’ll sit down with David and Sheran to talk about why bridges and wrapped tokens are broken, how Ika’s dWallets let Solana apps control assets on other chains directly, what’s actually hard about building cross-chain infra, and what’s upcoming for Ika.
Livestream here on x/twitter.

You know that feeling when you want to use your BTC on Solana, but first you have to bridge it, wrap it, and hope the bridge doesn’t get hacked? Now imagine a Solana app that could control your Bitcoin directly, no bridge, no wrapped token.
If you’re curious, what is @ikadotxyz?
Stay tuned for tomorrow’s Outpost Talk x SuperteamTH, cuz we will be featuring Ika with its co-founder @d3h3d_ and @illuminfti from the Ika team.
