Today I’m quizzing the anchors on @69News in honor of our annual Scholarship Competition Day. These two great traditions are both virtual this year.

#MLKDay represents an opportunity to think critically and honor service to our communities. Our community was offered chances to learn, reflect and support others when BSU, the CDI, athletics and SAB collaborated on Black Lives Matter Week this fall. ow.ly/tG4y50DbsSV

This year we broke with tradition. Instead of the students decorating a #gingerbread Blaney Hall with @PresidentMeade, they were given individual cookie kits for a gingerbread competition. It was different, but the entries did not disappoint! #cedarcrestcollege

I am proud to recognize the significance of the first woman of color to be elected VP of the US. This moment reinforces our mission as a women’s college to create leaders for a more equitable future. As president, I am honored to bear witness to such a historic occasion.

Is it bad of me to be so happy to get out of the house today? I donated blood at Miller Keystone Blood Center. Blood supplies are critically low. #MKBCdonate

Franki and I accompanied Professor Roxanne Amico’s class on their walking tour of the the London Wall, the remnants of the original Roman wall enclosing the city of Londinium! Then we had a private tour of the Museum of London Archaeological Archive. #cccsophex #cedarcrestcolle
