A busy day for our team!
This morning we helped our friends in Lancaster with campaigning in Caton, before heading to Preston Pride this afternoon.
Out campaigning, out listening, and out there fighting for our communities.
Very sad to hear of Bill Shannon’s passing. A wonderful man who gave so much to Preston and the Lib Dems. His kindness and dedication will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Bill.

A great morning at our surgery today. It's always a privilege to speak with residents and traders at the farmers’ market and discuss the issues that matter to people in Ashton.
Thanks to everyone who stopped for a chat!

Good to help out our Lancaster colleagues in Halton today. I look forward getting to know them in the coming months as we head over to the new unitary authorities next year.
Fantastic action day in Clitheroe.
There are 4 seat up in Clitheroe in the new unitary elections next year. A top target for the Lib Dems is to win them all.
Let’s go 🔶💪👍 – at Clitheroe, England

Happy Birthday to the NHS.
Thank you to all the NHS staff working hard to care for us and keep us healthy.
Honoured to attend the 100th anniversary commemoration of Preston's Cenotaph War Memorial today.
Remembering the courage, service and sacrifice of the Prestonians who gave their lives in defence of our country.
Lest we forget.

Excited to announce that I will be standing as one of three Lib Dem candidates next year for the North Lancashire Unitary elections in the Preston South-West division, alongside my colleagues Cllr John Potter and Cllr Mark Jewell.
Why did Reform help keep Labour in power in Preston?
To help residents? Nope. To improve Preston? Nope. Their leader admits the Preston Lib Dems are the most anti Reform party in the city.
We are, and we're proud of it.
Our new Lib Dem group on Preston City Council, with Cllr Jack Singh at his first AGM.
Labour clung to power in Preston’s first contested leadership vote in over a decade, backed by Greens, Independents, Conservatives and Reform.
We will keep fighting for accountability.
It was a real pleasure to attend the Mayor Making ceremony at Town Hall today. Congratulations to new Mayor Nweeda Khan and a big thank you to outgoing Mayor Sue Whittam for all of the incredible work she has done this past year.

I am very proud to have been re-elected to Preston City Council today. A huge thank you to everyone who supported me and helped out on my campaign.
Thank you, Ashton, for giving me the chance to carry on with the job!
Great to have Tim Farron MP out with us this morning in Lea and Larches.
If you want a serious, progressive choice for Preston this May, vote Lib Dem.
Team Ashton were delighted to visit Let’s Grow Preston’s Spring Fair today. A fantastic community event celebrating their work supporting people through gardening, growing food and bringing communities together. Great to see such a positive initiative making a real difference.
Our teams have been putting up stakeboards and canvassing all across town this weekend.
A big thank you to everyone who’s supported us and taken the time to speak with us. Momentum is building as we head towards May.
Our teams have been out in Ashton and Sharoe Green this morning.
The message on the doorstep is clear: Labour can’t win here. Only the Liberal Democrats can beat Reform here.
A busy morning on the doorstep in Lea and Larches.
Really positive conversations with residents and valuable local issues raised. Listening, helping, and standing up for our community all year round.
