1/ In an ideal musical environment (nurture), youthful songwriters would NATURALLY grow up into legitimate composers. They're now stunted by unnatural emphasis on commercial "songs" to the exclusion of other musical forms and genres. #classicalmusic

A "paper musician" is an incomplete musician. They can only play music composed by others. That is, music written down on paper in staff notation. Imagine! There are music schools that no longer teach students to compose original music. Strange.

When you learn read music (staff notation) you can read myriads of musical compositions by musicians of any nationality - Italian, German, French, British, Japanese, Brazilian, Ugandan, etc. - music notation is international! #musicfundamentals #pianolessons

"Books are dead." Not true, but people who never read books aren't very lively. What 📚 have you read lately?

We get it: Theory without practice builds nothing. But "practical" with no Theory builds nonsense. You need both. #pianolessons #musicfundamentals #ProfessionalGrowth instagram.com/reel/DeztY5AN7…

AI = Artificial Intelligence AC = Artificial Consciousness

If AI is destined to become supercalifragilisticexpialidociusly more intelligent than humans, what happens when it starts developing (I.e., programming) new, advanced versions of itself on its own, without human interference and special interest bias?

“If it’d been a snake it would have bit you!” Some phenomena in the world are so obvious, yet many people still don't see the cause, unless they get "bit" by them. That's not stupidity. I call it "negative hallucinating," enabled by an inhibited consciousness.

"Wake" is a 2009 novel by Robert J. Sawyer, the first part of a trilogy. The story is a fictional account (!) about the Internet becoming self-aware, conscious.

The "Nature vs. Nurture" arguments can be reduced to one thing: Genetics vs. Culture. Genetic potential is there, but a culture may not be favoring it, or even sabotaging its development. (E.g., How many professional symphony orchestras are in Africa today?)

They flood the world with mediocrity so there's hardly room left for great art. You don't hear a classical composer played in the elevator or lounge of a public place, yet you would easily relax to, say, a Chopin nocturne record. Let's change it. #pianolessons

We guarantee that our world will never improve by following and supporting those who only tell us what we want to hear.

With a view to constructive rehabilitation, I suppose "deprogramming" could be considered a kind of reverse brainwashing, in the case of destructive, mind-controlling cultures. The latter operate as prison cells with invisible bars, entertainment as warden.

'Creating robotic clones' of humans instead of improving humans themselves is a tremendous waste of technology.
