Missing context: The pair didnt have much money, so being a friend of them he said he'd do it for 250$ and just expected at least something to eat in return. He was denied a chair to sit down, he was told he can only make 20 minutes of a break or he wouldn't be paid and when his water was empty, he wasnt given any more water. It was a day with 40 degrees / 110 degrees fahrenheit and he was supposed to work for 8,5h. He asked several times if they were serious about that. Sooo absolutely understandable.
