The Old Crown & Cushion public house was Villa’s headquarters used for the Perry Barr ground,1876-1897. Also used as a meeting place where players socialised & spoke tactics along with committee & club officials. The ground was across the street along Wellington Road.

It’s the little extra things. While the Trinity Road is closed for the SW corner work, the opportunity to treat and repaint the beams in the tunnel has been done. ☑️

My proposal for the new SW corner
Like the vinyl wrap signage we have on the Trinity, over the corrugated cladding
Have a large image of Dennis Mortimer lifting the European Cup. Also put the 1982 mural back along from the team profiles
Then the corner is dedicated to 82
