Today marks 100 years since the Tulsa Race Massacre. For too long, the history of this act of white supremacist terrorism—and others like it—were intentionally kept quiet. We urge you to teach the truth about Tulsa and other hard histories.

I find it incredibly frustrating that teacher-leaders who choose to stay in the classroom instead of going into administration are not rewarded financially. This devalues teachers and is one of the aspects of education that needs to be rethought.

instead of saying “i was supposed to do X,” I now say “I intended to do X.” Shifting my language has allowed me to release myself from unrealistic requirements during crisis and grief.

Processing today: I took 2 fully online APSI courses this summer. Here are my takeaways as it relates to being a "student" in an online class.
1. Do not make students turn on their cameras
There were times I was eating & turned off my camera only to be asked to turn it back on

To be clear, to be ANTI-RACIST is to move from “sympathy” to “accountability”. The goal is to dismantle White Supremacy, not to help folks of color learn how to better survive oppression. #antiracism

I never spoke to Rep. Yoho before he decided to accost me on the steps of the nation’s Capitol yesterday.
Believe it or not, I usually get along fine w/ my GOP colleagues. We know how to check our legislative sparring at the committee door.
But hey, “b*tches” get stuff done. 🤷🏽♀️
"Fucking bitch" says Florida's @RepTedYoho while accosting @AOC on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, according to report thehill.com/homenews/house/5…
