Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.

Weâre committing a portion of Anthropicâs shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit.
It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the companyâs value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our boardâs discretion.
In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropicâs shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program weâve run since our founding.
In the post below, we share more details about our new fund.

Ashton Kutcher put $500,000 into Uber while his wife begged him not to. Mila Kunis called it âthe worst idea ever.â By 2016, Forbes put that stake at around $50 million
Kunis wasnât being dumb. She was being close to it. Her family left Soviet Ukraine in 1991, when she was seven. In Los Angeles her father, an engineer, drove a cab to feed them. So when Kutcher described Uber - a cab company where any stranger picks you up in his own car - she didnât hear the future. She heard a threat to the only work that had kept her family alive. âYouâre going to put me in a car with a stranger? What is wrong with you?â
Then he told her about Bitcoin. At the start of 2013 it traded under $100. Her instinct was the one everyone has in front of real money: âIs it FDIC insured?â His answer is the whole lesson. âNo. Thatâs the point.â Hereâs the rule hiding in that exchange: the comfort you feel about an investment is the price tag on its upside. âInsured,â âsafe,â âguaranteedâ - someone already took the risk out, and the return left with it. The more it soothes you, the more of the gain is already gone to whoever was willing to be uncomfortable first
âI think this is a horrible idea,â she told him. âCool,â he said. âWeâre investing it.â By April 2021, when she told this story, Bitcoin was over $50,000 - more than five hundred times higher than where sheâd begged him to stop. And hereâs the trap worth remembering: the person best placed to judge a new thing is usually the one itâs about to replace. Her father drove the cabs Uber killed. Her ânoâ sounded like experience. It was a vested interest in the old world. The smart people who love you will talk you out of the best bet of your life in good faith - because theyâre grading tomorrow with yesterdayâs rulebook
She takes Uber everywhere now and books through Airbnb - another bet Kutcher made early. âIâve never been happier to be wrong,â she says. So keep two things before you ever sign anything. One: if it feels safe, the upside has already been paid out to someone else. Two: the loudest, smartest âthatâs insaneâ usually comes from the person with the most to lose if youâre right. $500,000 became $50 million because one of them could hold a feeling the other couldnât. She didnât lack money or brains. She just didnât want to get in a strangerâs car
