🚨EXCLUSIVE🚨This has been an incredibly long and painstaking piece of work, led by @GazTheJourno who spent months looking at maps, an ungodly number of digital tracking data websites and plotting where various Russian ships had been and how that corresponds to the network of undersea cables.
It’s also one of the last stories I played a part in during my time at @Telegraph.

Russia has attacked Kyiv with at least 21 ballistic missiles and Ukraine has sent hundreds of drones towards Moscow, hours after Russia said it was ready to resume US-mediated talks with Ukraine next month.
President Zelenskyy said two people had been killed in attacks launched by what he called Russian "humanitarians" in reference to US envoy Steve Witkoff praising Vladimir Putin as a "humanitarian" during their talks yesterday.

Still want to claim that Putin is a ‘humanitarian’ and that ‘ Russia has been fine on Ukraine and hasn't been doing much’ @realDonaldTrump @POTUS ?
I await the day you are held accountable.

Three waves of ballistic missiles have been launched at Kyiv by Russian “humanitarians” since yesterday evening. They used 21 missiles. Unfortunately, numerous sites across the city have been hit and damaged: ordinary residential buildings, energy facilities, infrastructure at one of the railway stations and the metro, shopping malls, and businesses. Even a monastery is among the damaged sites. Our emergency services are working at all the affected locations. Twelve of our regions came under Russian attack overnight. In Kyiv and across the regions, 34 people were injured, including five children. As of now, two people have been confirmed killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
Almost immediately after another round of talks, Russia launched a pointed attack. This means there has been no real change in its attitude toward everything that is happening. It is important to keep trying to find the right solutions to end this war. But when Russia responds to negotiations with ballistic missiles, real pressure on Russia is needed to bring about different steps – steps toward ending the killing. Stronger air defenses and the rapid delivery of missiles, the ability to destroy ballistic missile launchers, sanctions over the war – all of this must be in place. I am grateful to everyone who sees the situation for what it is and acknowledges the reality. The aggressor deserves to be treated accordingly. Ukraine deserves support. People's lives deserve protection. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine!

The next time Nick Clegg in invited onto BBC to pontificate as an independent tech expert…please note that here he is, named in the $27bn New Mexico judgment as one of execs engaged in a systematic cover-up of Facebook’s deceptive consumer practices.
Is this moving the needle @elonmusk ?
Do you feel you have blood on your hands?
I hope the law holds you and Trump accountable for your decisions and actions in restricting the use of Starlink in Ukraine

SpaceX Investor @GerberKawasaki tells me he’s not only “disgusted…from a humanity perspective” by restrictions on Starlink in Ukraine, but also: “…they've given everybody a reason not to use Starlink, that Starlink isn't reliable for national security for anybody but Trump.”

woah, it gets worse. In the Meta securities lawsuit for Cambridge Analytica cover-up, plaintiffs just posted deposition list. If they have the courage to 'go to the mat' (as Zuckerberg says) like New Mexico AG has done for over $25B, this could be very, very bad for Team Zuck. 1/3

Ukraine is being asked to abandon its sovereignty and territorial integrity so that two great powers can more easily help each other overcome the consequences of aggressive wars they should never have started.
And yet we’re still debating the “irresponsibility” of smaller powers
