Two years later and fans still crying over something that wasn't even a bad managerial decision. The replies are even more clueless. (Famously, pitchers are completely unequipped to pitch after being on the IL for a month)

2 votes • Final resultsA game like this is exactly why pulling SPs early when they're pitching great games in the postseason makes no sense. Now these bullpens have been unnecessarily gassed and will likely have to eat innings tonight (or you'll have to stretch out SPs who AREN'T pitching well).
Can't wait to see the reaction from the Nestor Cortes/Tim Hill crowd if Brandon Woodruff makes a WS appearance. On the IL twice, had shoulder surgery on the table at one point, and hasn't pitched since 7/4. Stupid decision by Milwaukee to roster him, right?
It's funny, when former players like CC, Rizzo, Jeter and ARod rip the Yankees, they're hailed as geniuses who know the game.
When two former GMs (Phillips and O'Dowd) and former player, Anthony Recker, praise the Yankees, "They don't know what the fuck they're talking about!"

How does everyone think this is breaking news? He's in the middle of a contract. The Yankees haven't fired a manager (ie let him go without letting a contract run out) since Stump Merrill in 1991. This wasn't happening.
