Yesterday Trump announced he's nominating Pete Hegseth as his Secretary of Defense.
Hegseth's a prominent Fox News personality & veterans advocate, but he also has strong ties to the Christian far right that I've not seen fully exposed yet.
Here's a thread w/ receipts... 1/

Armed Services on Pete Hegseth being bounced from the military for extremism, ties to white nationalism, plans to hollow out the military. All this will be whitewashed when the GOP takes the majority. Preempt them! 3/

Dems have the Senate majority for the next 60-plus days. Use it! Not just to confirm judges. Hold your own pre-confirmation hearings. Foreign Relations on Tulsi Gabbards ties to Russia. Intel Committee onJohn Ratliffe's misconduct on intelligence in Trump's first term. 1/

As a Jewish man I can attest these RFK Jr. comments are lies. I had Covid 3 times.
Hey! Where's my immunity? (Just kidding)
But seriously... Where does he get this shit?
He should be in charge of the space program, because he is definitely a space cadet! As in he’s way out there!
Absolutely disgusting and insane. The @nypost obtained video from a recent RFK Jr. event where he suggested COVID is a Chinese bioweapon “ethnically targeted” to “attack Caucasians and Black people” and to spare “Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese” people. He then falsely claimed the U.S. has spent hundreds of millions of dollars on labs in Ukraine to develop similar bioweapons that target people by their race.

RFK Jr. has no medical or scientific credentials and wants to gut the National Institutes of Health. And Marjorie Taylor Greene today cheered him on in our committee. This is outrageous and shameful.
