It is astounding to me how useless being a Mileage Plus member at @united for 30 years is. No worthwhile benefits or customer service. If an airline isn’t loyal to us, why should we be loyal to them?
@united refuses to let me use some of my 150k miles to upgrade my elderly mother’s seat on her $1300 international flight without paying another $1000. Even if I wasn’t a 30 yr Mileage Plus member, this is absurd. They don’t care about their customers.
