Drawn&Write: New(?) idea: select sentences from a reading, have AI generate images based on the text (I used HotPot), students need to read the text and match sentences to the image. One more way for students to read without realizing that they are reading!

Reminds me of when my father passed away 7 years ago and I came back to a card signed by all of my students and a gift basket. Students are always amazing and fill my heart every day. As Eddie Vedder wrote, "all that's sacred comes from youth."

Teacher Debra Fortes was going through some difficult times and her students wanted to brighten her mood. When you have a class of kids to show this kind of respect, you are doing plenty right! They drive us nuts, but can also be very sweet at times.

Howell kicked off the 2024 season today at Katke-Cousins. Shooting a 295 good for 2nd place. Zach Spencer was medalist with a 3 under 69. Gavin Hill with a personal best 74. Derek Kantola in his first event fired a 76 and Lucas Downing picked right back up from lastyearwith a 76
