🇨🇦 A Historic Initiative for the African Diaspora in Canada!
As facilitator, I was pleased to welcome representatives of African diaspora associations and organizations from across Canada to the Senate of Canada in Ottawa on Friday, October 23, in the presence of the Honourable Arielle Kayabaga, Member of Parliament for London West.
This gathering marked an important milestone with the establishment of Pan-Canadian Afrique Diaspora (PADC), an initiative driven by a shared commitment to fostering dialogue, strengthening coordination, and promoting collaboration among the diverse communities of the African diaspora.
I commend this initiative and wish PADC every success in fulfilling its mission for the benefit of its communities and Canadian society as a whole.
Wishing PADC great success and a long-lasting future! 🇨🇦🤝🏾
