Been learning about ZK-SNARKs lately! The core ideas behind modern hash-based schemes are surprisingly accessible & elegant 🧙‍♂️ Partly to teach myself, I wrote a post explaining them from scratch for people like me without a deep math background: xn--2-kmb.com/zk-snarks

yBorg - Week 1 Day 2 Meet @0xFlint_, the newest yBorg mentor. A gigachad security researcher with a diverse background who spends his free time getting lost in massive Rust codebases. He share's his audit methodology and thoughts on AI in a new video. Today’s yBorg assignment: - Watch the vid - Soak up the alpha - 👉 Think about how you’d turn his process into an AI-assisted workflow For those who are joining us online, share a diagram in the comments showing how you'd turn Flint's process into an AI-assisted workflow - we'll be sharing examples from the Discord later. This whole week we are thinking about process, both human and AI. We'll be sharing lots of diagrams and examples throughout the week and by the end of the week, fellows complete a diagram of what they are building! @0xFlint_ also hosted an AMA on the discord and we can continue that here in the comments if anyone has anything they'd like to ask. Enjoy the vid and don't forget to share your diagrams and ask questions in the comments!

The last months I realized that income from bug hunting is to unregular for me. Because of this I have decided to move more into private audits and do bug hunt only when I have some free time. If you are looking for a security researcher feel free to reach out to me here -> t.me/schnilch

I wrote code. Now I face 45 years in prison because others misused it. Code that no one controls. Code that no one can change or shut down. Yet somehow, I’m being held responsible for what others chose to do with it.
I feel like the whole BoA money laundering thing should be talked about, but what's left to say? I spent a year in prison for not filling out a form around selling Bitcoin and got in trouble because someone two degrees separate from me allegedly used it to launder funds. The amount in question was around $30k. BoA launders $5b and has to give one fifth of it back to the government. No jail for anyone. This is America.

Soon I'll hit 5 years in Web3 security. This is for everyone just starting out in the space: - people are making $100k+ from reporting a single bug. the opportunities are insane, but it's NOT easy money - become a nerd. literally. read code, break things, put in the hours - learn to negotiate. being great at finding bugs doesn't automatically mean you'll be great at getting paid - be disciplined. it takes years to become genuinely good at this - stay curious. never stop asking WHY and HOW things work - start by finding smaller bugs. learn to walk before chasing Criticals - be patient. skills, reputation and money don't come overnight - adapt fast. this industry looks nothing like it did 4 years ago - embrace new technologies, especially AI. learn to use them instead of dismissing them - surround yourself with smart, like-minded people. you'll learn things no course can teach you - stay up to date with exploits, research and everything happening in the space - learn to sell yourself. your skills mean less if nobody knows about them - build your personal brand. a good reputation opens doors you didn't even know existed - understand what creates REAL value - celebrate your wins, but don't get too comfortable. take a day off, then get back to work - respect other whitehats and builders. there's always something you can learn from them - help people without expecting anything in return. you'll be surprised where it leads - long-term relationships > short-term benefit - be careful what you click. even security researchers get hacked - never think you've learned enough. the moment you stop improving, you're falling behind - enjoy the process. this space is so crazy that it's almost impossible to get bored
