Conservatives in B.C won a majority with ≈23% of the eligible vote.
Better than Ontario where the conservatives won a majority with 18% of the eligible vote.
These are hardly overwhelming mandates.
But voter apathy has spoken...
When your support is enabled, they come out of the shadows. You enabled this @conservative_bc @LDoerkson. Now you own it

You have Stockwell Day, Preston Manning, Jason Kenney, Pierre Poilievre , Danielle Smith, Scott Moe just a few of the radical nuts jobs coming out elated on the election win, tells you all you need to now about how bad things are going to get for BC.

Still think Doerkson is a moderate? No. He’s not.
You done fucked up BC. Dark MAGA is infinitely worse than maple MAGA. Good luck. I did not wish this on anyone, I never would. But you’ve opened Pandora’s box and it’s going to hurt a lot.

Premier-elect Doerkson says he is "still committed" to repealing DRIPA:
"It has not worked in this province, and frankly it has caused more problems to date than I think potentially anything else."
Next up: expensive privatized auto insurance, tax breaks for corporations, privatized health care, nods to bigotry, removal of rights.
Yay!
Bravo BC!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
What a great day for beautiful British Columbia, and all of Canada!
The worst government in Canada, and in BC history, has been completely repudiated.
David Eby’s divisive, hard left politics of envy kicked to the curb.
And a principled, serious, renewed Conservative Party given a huge mandate for change!
What a great sequel to Albertans’ rejection of separatism. Now we’ll have these two western powerhouses, plus Saskatchewan, aligned to build Canada into a global energy and resource super power! 🇨🇦💪🏼
The only thing standing in the way of these people amending our constitution, taking away rights is Mark Carney

White nationalists just outside the BC Legislature this morning after a BC Cons supermajority.
This group is Loyalist Pioneers, a white nationalist organization virtually identical to Second Sons. They've been active around Victoria for about a year & a half.

You’re a bigot and a shitposter, @AaronGunn
No matter what the gaffes of the NDP are, British Columbians do not deserve the chaos and economic shitstorm Conservatives will unleash on ordinary people.
You’ve manoeuvred behind the scenes to become Premier.
You’ve lied.
We see you

Aaron Gunn is going to lead the Conservative Party of BC. This should scare the shit out of everyone who cherishes decency and democracy
