and honestly, i've had one of the best experiences with it so far.
getting it ready was pretty straightforward. on Windows, you just need Docker Desktop, open VEX and let everything finish downloading. create your password, add your OpenRouter API key, set up your wallet and you're ready.
my PC is pretty slow, so it took me a little longer, but once everything was running, the experience was smooth.

i also joined the campaign with ProjectVex, Superboard and Lighter.
the campaign runs until October 16. the reward pool starts at $500 and can grow to $5,000 depending on total trading volume.
you need $20K in verified trading volume to qualify. that's $20K worth of trades over time, not $20K sitting in your wallet.
i've already generated some volume and also tried a 1-hour trading mission.
during that mission, i generated around $250 in volume and made a tiny bit of profit.
nothing crazy, but watching the trade happen in real time was genuinely fun.

when i'm looking for a trade, i don't want to spend hours jumping between different tabs.
VEX gives me a starting point and helps me understand what i'm looking at.

the way you interact with the agent feels very natural.
you explain what you want in normal words, get the information back and decide what you want to do.
the approval system was another big plus because the agent isn't just moving things on its own.
after a few trades, the whole flow started feeling really easy.
▸ my only real problem was my PC. it's pretty slow, so i couldn't record my full trading journey while using VEX.
