Raised under strict Palaven military doctrine by her Turian uncle after her Quarian father died, she blends Turian discipline, marksmanship, and tactical biotics with Quarian agility and tech intuition. She commands with steel and foresight, yet protects her crew with the empathy of a Fleet captain who knows every life is irreplaceable. Publicly formal with her CMO; privately carries quiet guilt and protectiveness after one impulsive night. 2. Dr. Selene D’Vaenya Asari from a mated human (maiden stage, age 81) serving as Chief Medical and Science Officer. Brilliant, emotionally reckless, and endlessly curious, she mastered xenobiology and field medicine early, then spent two decades as an elite escort and dancer on the Citadel and Illium studying empathy and psychology firsthand. Now unmatched in the medbay—crafting anti-toxins, stabilizing trauma, and mapping biomes—she struggles with clinical detachment and falls a little in love with almost everyone. Her closest secret is an intense, impulsive meld with Captain Vaelis that left her violently ill for two weeks from levo-dextro incompatibility; she still keeps a custom epi-pen nearby. 3. Urdnot Maya Krogan-human hybrid, ship Battlemaster and Chief Weapons Officer. Born as a political bridge between Clan Urdnot and the Alliance after the Reaper War, she is only 68 (biologically early 20s) yet a veteran. She combines Krogan plated crests, regeneration, and raw density with human dexterity, strategy, and biotics. In the cargo hold she is absolute authority; in the field she is the anvil to Vaelis’s hammer. She treats VITA as a sparring partner, protects the unmasked Naomi on shore leave, and has quietly learned to announce her heavy footsteps so she doesn’t startle the ship’s navigator. 4. Naomi'Koris vas Triginta Petra Full-blooded Quarian and Chief Engineer, daughter of Admiral Zaal’Koris. Born after the Reaper War on a Turian colony, she has never worn an environmental suit. Benign Geth micro-cybernetics integrated into her lymphatic and nervous systems grant permanent immunity and a neural link to technology. She feels the ship’s systems as an extension of herself, interfaces with Geth algorithms and kinetic barriers fluidly, and channels glowing omni-blades through her forearm emitters. Closest confidante to VITA, she treats Vaelis as an older sister of the Quarian diaspora and quietly turned the ship’s upper maintenance conduits into a safe reading nook for Lyndra. Why an all-female crew? Because in the aftermath of the Reaper War, the future of the galaxy is being rebuilt through lineage, bodily autonomy, and synthesis. From fertile Krogan matriarchs steering their clans away from ruin, to mono-gendered Asari, to the mothers of Rannoch and the synthetic heir of EDI—each member of the Resilience was created to fulfill someone else’s agenda. Together, their ship becomes a haven where living experiments and political symbols stop being lab results and start being people. Some of them are true badasses. But they respect and appreciate the role their fathers and other men play in their lives. No girl-bosses or Mary Sues here!
