Thus properly understood, Darwinism is not very comforting doctrine for fat men.

“What’s the difference between them and us, in practicality.” I wonder if I could interest you in some charts, studies and papers on this very important question?
What makes the civil service dysfunctional, say, compared to the Chinese civil service or the U.S. civil service? When, China or India, were poor countries with bigger populations than we have today, how did they build a relatively effective civil service that that enabled consistent economic growth What’s the difference between them and us, in practicality. I want you to get down to it, there are some words we will get to. Please let’s keep it going

Breaking: Court sacks Uzodinma as APC senatorial candidate for Imo West vanguardngr.com/2026/10/brea…

Hmm…. This ruling….. if it holds at the Supreme Court there will be a lots of gnashing of teeth in the NDC ha ha, so many candidates must have called their lawyers by now. So political parties really thought they could do sham primaries even when INEC monitored them? 💀
Court Orders Uzodinma to Stop Parading Himself as APC Candidate, Recognizes Former Governor Rochas Okorocha for Imo West Senatorial District Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday ordered Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma to immediately stop presenting himself as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Imo West Senatorial District election scheduled for January 16, 2027. Delivering judgment, the court held that Uzodinma did not win the May 18, 2026 APC primary election, which was conducted by the party and monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The judge said that evidence before the court showed that former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha secured the majority of votes cast and should be declared the winner. The judge subsequently ordered the APC to forward Okorocha’s name as its candidate for the 2027 general elections in the Imo West Senatorial District.

Why exactly is it so obvious when someone is trying to pass off AI writing as their own? There are clear red flags like “quietly” and “load bearing” but there’s also something less tangible in the rhythm and construction that screams AI but is hard to precisely describe. I can tell when something is AI slop but I can’t always tell how I can tell.

Nice content. It’s sad to see someone move around consistently for 3 years, only to finish a distant third in the election. Obi will be 3rd again. This is what happens when you destroy coalition-building and choose to listen to content creators instead.
After his engagements in Nasarawa and Abuja, yesterday, HE Peter Obi rounded off the day in Lagos by watching the Chelsea vs. Liverpool match.

NRC invites private firms to run own trains on its tracks. The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), established for sole control of railways, is offering private operators access to its approximately 4,000. The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), established for sole control of railways, is offering private operators access to its approximately 4,000 km rail network for a fee, provided they supply their own locomotives and rolling stock. Kayode Opeifa, managing director of the NRC, said the corporation grants what it calls track access, permitting private and private companies to operate on railway infrastructure built with public funds. “You can bring your train, bring your locomotive, bring your wagons, bring your everything. We will run it on it. You just pay us your money. We don’t want to run the trains alone,” Opeifa told stakeholders Tuesday

The CEO of KFC is worth significantly less than all its cooks combined. But the CEO is worth significantly more than any single cook, and their costs to the company reflect all of this.

Sure if ALL the cooks at KFC stopped working then yeah KFC wouldn't make any money. That is why ALL the cooks, collectively, are paid significantly higher than the CEO is. Like 50 times higher If ONE cook quit though? Not much would change. Hence the low wage.
If the CEO of KFC stopped working tomorrow, the company would still make money. If the cooks stopped working tomorrow, KFC wouldn't make a dime. You can't tell me the people doing the actual work don't deserve a living wage.

Well, that’s irrelevant if the religion doesn’t condemn the institution of slavery. Yes, the slave and the master is “equal” to God, but how does that change the relationship between the slave and the master? Jesus would condemn slave revolts.

No, that’s not why it’s tagged slave morality. It’s tagged slave morality because it encourages the disposition of a good slave; unwavering obedience, meekness, deference to authority and even a call to poverty.

I am trying to hold myself not to start cursing anybody, but, the continuous killing of innocent and bright souls amongst us by avoidable circumstances must not only be investigated but the perpetuators be brought to book. Ibrahim one of the victims of this circumstance is not just a friend but a brother, who was already contributing meaningfully to the development of the state only to be killed by the convoy of the State Governor all in the name of running to nowhere. Emmanuel who is a recent graduate of FUTMx, an orphan and a first child of his family refuses to go home after graduation in order to be able to hustle and sponsor his siblings and his mother, now his life was not only cut short, but the family that's dependent on him are now mourning. Aguye, a seasoned mentor and advocate of girl child education and youth empowerment, a mother that's not only trying to support the lives of her children but also reshaping the lives of other children and youth through her contributions to human development. Her children were waiting for her return only to see the body due to negligence of @HonBago convoy that were running in a town that's filled up with people, yet they care less of the consequences. It's been over 48 hours, did you see any official statement from them? That's because to them, every other person's life is meaningless, worthless and has no value. Y'all can see for yourself the type of leader that still wants you to elect them into power

So one term of 4 years for the igbo man. Anyway, I dey like this kind dream. It sells well. Then we pair Kwankwanso with a yoruba man. SW (8yrs VP) that will now be 12 yrs President (assuming BAt doesn't win) and then 16 years VP.
Peter Obi wins the election next year. Rabiu Kwankwaso to run in 2031, who is the most possible vice presidential candidate to him?

You don see am na. They are on their timeliness jerking off on my name but will enter my mentions to do move on. As long as their leaders keep orchestrating this mess, none of us will move on. Elections will finish and there will be no moving on. Political ambition will meet an unceremonious end but there will be no moving on. We will dig this matter every single day. 😃
Looks like “move on Ndi” is the central theme from the troll farm. Cos how do u keep asking someone to move on while constantly maligning her person through silly comments & videos? The attacks on this lady are likely sanctioned by someone high up there cos make it make sense.🤷🏾‍♂️

When women talk about inequitable labor within a marriage, this is what they mean. Do keep in mind, most women also work.
