New Mexicans across our state, including on the Navajo Nation, continue to face the devastating consequences of uranium mining and nuclear testing. The children and grandchildren of families impacted deserve comprehensive, preventative healthcare.
As governor, I’ll stand up for Tribal communities and fight for them to get the care they deserve.

While national economic uncertainty grows, New Mexico is building an economy made to last.
More than 14,000 New Mexicans are working in clean energy, and 2,809 have already completed climate-ready or infrastructure training, surpassing our statewide goal ahead of schedule. We also reached 50% renewable electricity five years early.
More clean energy. More skilled workers. More opportunity for New Mexicans.

New Mexico is leading the way on clean energy.
We surpassed our 2030 renewable energy goal five years early, with 52% of our electricity generation now coming from renewable sources.
Our growing clean energy economy supports more than 14,000 jobs and has attracted billions in private investment.
We’re building a cleaner, healthier future for New Mexico while creating good-paying jobs and growing our economy along the way.

Just 14 days to stop the destruction of one of America's most sacred cultural and historical sites. 14 days!
Donald Trump wants to obliterate Chaco Canyon for oil and gas drilling, sacrificing thousands of years of history to enrich his allies. That's why I'm leading legislation to permanently protect Chaco.
This is outrageous. Submit a public comment and share this post far and wide. We cannot let this administration destroy this heritage site. Comment link below ⬇️

Grant programs that put New Mexico children in touch with the great outdoors are creating healthier kids with a new appreciation for our state’s natural splendor.
The Outdoor Equity Fund, created by my administration in 2019, has sent 128,000 kids from 28 counties into educational outdoor experiences that foster emotional well-being and can spark a lifelong love of the land. Trails+ has invested $39.8M in 282 infrastructure projects across 29 counties, supporting an estimated 2,650 jobs — and giving students hands-on career training along the way.
Every kid in New Mexico should have a chance to experience New Mexico’s great outdoors and we’re helping to make it happen!
