It truly was the greatest time for Synthwave for many reasons. There were no "rules" and the artists back then were trying new things even if it worked or not. There was an actual community between artists and fans. Everything was real and not over saturated. Long live APL. 🤖 ⚡

This created a very large and heavy impact sound while keeping that nostalgic aesthetic we all love. I feel like the end results came out quite well and I think you'll dig it too! Available now on Bandcamp, Spotify, iTunes, YouTube and pretty much all available streaming sites.

This one was a little different approach than the score I did for the first KC. I went into it with a more contemporary scoring approach while still retaining an underlying layer of 80s synth scoring techniques.

The music keeps those 80s vibes with a hint 90s and topped with some more contemporary scoring elements. The music hits harder and is more menacing than before which I feel really adds to the visuals of the movie!

Having the opportunity to do the score on the first KC, when Brad came to me and asked if I'd like to do the music for the sequel I was definitely IN with the project!
