Keep the eye mask on for the entire psilocybin session:
- Eyes open, and most of your thinking goes to altered outside perception: the visual world fracturing into geometric shapes, faces melting and morphing
- That has a strong draw for anyone chasing a highly unusual experience, but it is not where the lasting benefit comes from
- Eyes closed sends you inward, combining what you see in your mind's eye with thoughts, memories and shifts in emotion
- Staying in the mask for the majority of the session is the critical feature of an effective therapeutic session

GDF15 fell
> 17.4% after 10 mg
> 13.9% after 25 mg
High GDF15 signals mitochondrial failure and neurodegeneration.
Inflammation also declined:
> IL-6: −17%
> IL-8: −20%
> hsCRP: −9.6%
> IL-10: +2.7% (anti-inflammatory)

The older I get, the more I realize that real confidence is less about knowing you’ll win and more about knowing you’ll bounce back even if you don’t. Real confidence is resilience. Adaptability. Tolerance for uncertainty. Fear loses when you know failure is never final.

Since I first explored the psychedelics sector a few years back, it has had a profound impact on the way I see and experience the world.
Each study, book, and anecdotal story I hear build upon that confidence that we understand a fraction of how the brain works alongside how it interacts with the world around us! This book will definitely be added to my library and a must-read to expand this awareness.

Robin really hit the mark with this one. The book is insightful & rich, yet I’m most in awe of the way in which the content flows.
Grateful for the advanced copy! Excited for the masses to get the chance to read it. Highly recommend.
