I literally cannot imagine how easy my life would be if an NGO complex existed to get me a free white-collar corporate career and $750,000 in free money and a free car and a free house and free medicine for my first 3 kids.

They're not going to do it without rewiring all of the social incentives but imagine those same women doing that work for 22 year old 140 IQ chuds

I want every dog owner to hear this: every dog who has violently attacked me, someone I know, or a dog I was walking had an owner that assured me this never happens and their dog is safe. Your assessment of your own dog means nothing to me. I don’t trust you to evaluate your dog’s safety. Just put it on a damn leash, and don’t be a tiny woman with a dog that can easily overpower you. I don’t care how well you “know your dog”. That’s what every owner of a shitty dog says.
I genuinely do think there are a lot of basically good people who have never really thought about the ways in which they are behaving badly as dog owners, because nobody ever really calls them out for it.
If your dog is ever off leash, you are being antisocial and behaving badly. If your dog ever jumps on somebody who didn’t specifically ask for that to happen, then you are behaving antisocially (even if the dog is just being “friendly”). If you have an invisible fence in your yard, but your dog comes running right up to the line at full speed only to stop at the last minute and bark at everybody who walks by, then you are behaving antisocially. Honestly, even behind a fence, this is an aggressive and annoying imposition on anybody walking by.
If somebody has ever respond with fear or annoyance at something your dog has done and you’ve reflexively protested, “oh don’t worry, he won’t hurt you” or “he’s friendly” then that’s antisocial behavior. (You should just simply say, “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have done that, I won’t let it happen again” and then you should work to actually make it not happen again. Telling people not to worry, that you think your dog is just peachy, is bad behavior.)
This is all bad behavior. It’s all antisocial. And I have these experiences with dogs and their owners routinely. This is all extremely common stuff.

Perfect example of how dog owners, who refuse to follow rules, make parks worse
And if you were to call them out for letting them off-leash in a place where they are **specifically** prohibited … they take umbrage with you, and say they “aren’t hurting anyone”

Our baseball & soccer fields close for 3 months to let the grass grow. fine until the dog park also closes for the same reason, only to have the dog owners let them loose on the kids sports fields. Then we have to debate less access or longer closures bc the grass won’t come back

If we don’t change this … in 40 years we will look back on allowing dogs in downtowns the same way we look at cars:
As a terrible mistake for how it molded dense urban environment for the benefit of a few ... by not properly pricing in public costs of the "free rider" dog owners and by changing the entire culture to accommodate them.
My fear is by then (like with cars today) there will be too many ppl accustomed to the private benefits and impunity of living downtown with their dogs so we're only able to make marginal changes
And that negative downstream effects (fewer kids, playgrounds, dirty sidewalks, dog attacks) will be baked in
QUICK if you were gifting someone rambutans for their birthday HOW WOULD YOU PACKAGE THEM in a way that is CUTE
Finally I can come back to this. I studied it very closely and I knew that the shooter killed the civilian in Montreal—the woman cop did not shoot him. People get so attached to their impressions and they’re so deranged about assigning ulterior motives (nobody is more against woman cops than I am!) they are beyond reason
So I had to wait for the autopsy. Sure enough. I know this won’t be good enough for some of you (I say so in the QT) because nothing would be! There is a lesson in here about epistemology, but if you need it you won’t take it…
I desperately want “my side” to be the one which can perceive and acknowledge objective reality, but when something like this hits the timeline and everyone is SO sure about something which isn’t true, it regrettably doesn’t feel that way
Elaboration has to wait until the truth comes out because this is a miserable place to say anything true that the mob is confidently wrong about. I’m only tweeting this now so I can refer back to it later
Though, people are so invested that when the truth does come out, many or maybe most will flatly deny it anyway. Observing this all while it’s happening and knowing that’s what lies ahead is a bit depressing but whatever, it’s not like it’s news to me that people believe whatever they want
Oh, to have 10,000 members of a barbarian horde slaughtered, as your nation's finest free you from the clutches of your foes 💕

Crucially, moving to another state doesn’t allow one to avoid the tax, since the tax would be owed by billionaires who lived in California at the beginning of 2026.
Not 2027 — but beginning of 2026.
There is no incentive to move to another state. One cannot avoid the tax by moving. This is one of the main reasons why it was structured as a one-time tax.
What did El Salvador do to deserve Bukele ❤️
This is 100% how a nation's leader should respond to such a situation. Let his people free, or there will be rivers of blood to rescue them.
Pou chèf gang yo ak manm gang yo k ap kenbe kat konpatriyòt nou yo an otaj ann Ayiti:
Nou deja fini ak gang yo nan El Salvador, e nou kapab fini ak nou tou.
Nou toujou gen tan pou evite sa.
Remèt nou kat konpatriyòt nou yo vivan, san okenn mal, epi tout bagay ap retounen jan sa te ye anvan kidnaping lan.
Desizyon an nan men nou.
I don't feel like researching any of the candidates or issues right now so I'm just going straight red ticket, idc. Caring about candidates is for the primaries.
Tempted to write a physical letter to @HippieOrganics because I hate this smirking, doped-up celery stickman so gd much. He makes me unhappy EVERY time I see him but I keep buying this trash because it's so affordable at Costco

We probably have 50 Elon Musks in Alabama, Kansas, Nebraska who were racially discriminated against in the 90s and who never got their foot in the door. You cannot even calculate how much DEI racial discrimination has crippled America. The opportunity cost is something like $50 trillion. It's not a coincidence that all of America's major tech figures today (Jensen, Peter Thiel, David Sacks, Elon Musk, etc..) are all foreigners. We spent the past 50+ years crushing our own domestic talent pool and using foreigners as a substitute.
