Robert Downey Jr is the new "Chief Customer Experience Officer" at @specs . If you remember well, a few months ago, there was a rumor about Snap wanting to hire him for like $100M, and it seems that in the end they signed the deal.
I'll repeat the same thing I said a few months ago when the rumor first surfaced: as much as I like RDJ, I think they would have made a better deal giving that money to creators that could develop real use cases for the glasses. Hiring "futurists" didn't help much Magic Leap, and this partnership, in my opinion, won't bring much to Snap, either.
