I was pleased to visit @EMA_Airport , one of the region’s biggest economic assets and a major employer for Leicester.
As the MP for Leicester East, I was keen to learn more about its contribution to our local economy.
I visited the air traffic control tower and discussed EMA’s role in freight, connectivity and jobs across the East Midlands.
With more than 9,000 people employed on site, the airport’s success matters directly to our constituents and local businesses.
I look forward to working with EMA to support further growth and connect local people with the opportunities it offers.
Thank you to the team for hosting me.
