JUST IN: Israel's election commission has found no evidence of fraud in the parliamentary election held on October 27, dealing a major blow to PM Netanyahu. Netanyahu had repeatedly accused Arab-led parties of stealing the election through widespread fraud, including voter manipulation and ballot-rigging. His Likud party had even demanded an investigation, claiming the alleged fraud affected the election results. However, the election commission has now found no evidence of fraud, undermining Netanyahu's repeated claims that the election was stolen.

🇩🇪 🇹🇷 AfD lawmaker kicked off Ryanair flight after allegedly insulting an employee of Turkish origin The incident happened back on October 18, but has only now come to light. Marcel Queckemeyer was planning to fly to Mallorca from Münster/Osnabrück Airport. According to Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung (NOZ), several passengers got into an argument with an airport employee over carry-on luggage that allegedly failed to meet the airline's requirements. The AfD lawmaker stepped in and began loudly criticizing the employee. NOZ reports that Queckemeyer allegedly told the employee, who is of Turkish origin: "You've achieved nothing in your life, and now you're working here at an airport." Ryanair confirmed that it denied the lawmaker boarding because of his behavior. Queckemeyer has not commented on the incident, while an AfD spokesperson in Lower Saxony denied the allegations, saying the politician was simply standing up for other passengers and had not insulted anyone.

🇹🇷🇸🇦🇵🇰 Turkey is moving to FORMALLY approve its major defence pact with Saudi and Pakistan... The 3 countries signed it back in August, agreeing that an attack on one would be seen as an attack on all three, much like NATO's defence rules. And now things are getting serious. Saudi is facing growing attacks from Iran-backed Houthis, while the U.S. and Iran are still nowhere near a peace deal. And Turkey has NATO's second-largest army, so its involvement is a pretty big deal in and of itself. But Ankara isn't sending soldiers into battle. For now, it's expected to provide weapons, intelligence, air defences and military technology. Turkish troops could eventually help operate those systems, but that would need another vote in parliament. So Turkey is preparing to help defend Saudi, while making it clear it doesn't plan to fight the Houthis. Source: Reuters / Writer: Daniyal
