I don’t think what Chimpers is building will be fully recognised or appreciated for another year or two yet
Few are simultaneously building a real world brand, continually developing an NFT ecosystem, and attempting to connect the two
It’s a patient and intentional process that we’ve been at for almost 6 years already

What does every NFT project end up doing?
Launch a coin, airdrop it to holders, and watch it go straight to zero with no utility. So many projects have done this, and we sit here asking the question again and again, what was the point?
@ChimpersHQ did it and are doing it differently. First, no airdrop. It's a strategy token... meaning the token is DIRECTLY tied to the NFTs.
They are one of the only projects to adopt their strategy token as an ecosystem token. You can customize your Chimpanion with ethereum:0x3ca20831ebea5c99aa6e574d83f0a7c733f7e4d0 and you could buy custom art/gifs of your Chimp with CHIMPSTR all while BURNING the token.
The token being directly tied to the NFTs makes it seem less like it's a separate token and more like the token IS the NFT in a sense.
AND the team invests heavily with royalties and revenue going into the token and NFTs... some of which are given away to holders.

Over the past year, the Chimpers team has acquired over 72 million ethereum:0x3ca20831ebea5c99aa6e574d83f0a7c733f7e4d0 (over $100K in value) to support our ecosystem.
Today our treasury holds over 50 million ethereum:0x3ca20831ebea5c99aa6e574d83f0a7c733f7e4d0, with more than 20 million already deployed through collector rewards, incentives, and ecosystem initiatives.
As the officially adopted ecosystem token for Chimpers, we believed the best way to demonstrate genuine alignment was through a fair launch, purchasing our share just like everyone else.
No team allocation.
While this means distribution has been slower, it’s helped establish an organic holder base, with ethereum:0x3ca20831ebea5c99aa6e574d83f0a7c733f7e4d0 designed to support our NFT ecosystem for the long term.
We’re still early in that mission, but we’ve already introduced several important upgrades and will continue expanding its utility as the primary currency powering our ecosystem.
