Weāve had a few new Potatoes join us lately, so itās intro time!
Hey, Iām Ruby! Been a gamer since way backāstarted with a Commodore 64, and that āgamer phaseā never ended.
Iām an achievement huntress, mostly on PC and PlayStation. Used to write and record achievement guides, do OG RE speedruns, and challenge runs (like SL1 in Dark Souls). A couple of years ago, I had an accident that led to a brain injury, so my hand-eye coordination is kinda shot now. But hey, I still love gaming, so who cares?
Now, instead of a pro gamer, Iām the Mommy to my Potato Squad (thatās you guys!).
Iām Ace (specifically Aegosexual) and panromantic. You probably followed me after seeing a pic and already have me labeledāfair enough, considering the ālink in bio.ā
But hey, a good gamer never judges a book by its cover. Thatās how you find the hidden loot! š
Found my stash of spare DDR2/3 RAM from helping others upgrade/repair their PCs years ago, when my brain was still functioning properly (some just left the old ones with me) ^^
Can I retire now? š
Good ol days.
Steam Mastery: Tenebris Somnia
It mixes old-school 2D adventure horror graphics and sounds with live-action cutscenes. I was skeptical at first. Never liked FMV games, but this one is well acted and fits the atmosphere.
Check it out If you miss that old-school adventure feel!
Steam Mastery: Clive Barkerās Hellraiser: Revival
This one is amazing. Stunning to look at, the story pulls you in from the start, and the enemy designs are something else. Combat feels very fluid, with many different approaches. Thereās a reason you donāt see many videos of it tho: itās extremely gory, purposely sexual and often very disturbing.
Snagged this a few moons ago and it slipped my mind to show it off.
Used Marioās head for the close-up since heās chilling by the window and needed light XD
Btw that bit in Japanese spells: PlayStation āŗļø
Homemade cookies, all natural!
I milled the flour myself, and the eggs and butter come from a farmer who takes really good care of their animals. ^^
Would you like to try them?
Steam Mastery #761: Graveyard Keeper 2
At first it felt like a straight upgrade. After 105 hours the little stuff shows up, some QOL here, a bit of speed there. Nothing that would flip you if you liked the first. Devs are already sanding it down as per feedback^^
IMHO, play it!
These damn activistsš¤
In all seriousness, the one on the left is a real playable FNAF fanmade game XD
I know I should be playing Silent Hill Townfall but Graveyard Keeper 2 has such addictive gameplayš
The first game was one of my favorites in the genre, if not the favorite, and the sequel improves on mechanics that were already amazing!
Me and my 9 games <3
Honorable Mentions:
Donkey Kong Country 2, Final Fantasy 9, Kuon and Devil May Cry <3

After looking around online, what Iāve gathered is that a lot of people donāt like how Logan was written in the game.
Fair enough. I thought it was weird and a bit clashing too. He comes off so... emotive? (Sorry, English isnāt my first language. I canāt find a better word.)
In other media heās usually dark, rough, and gruff. Here heās more āwholesome,ā which is a pretty big departure from how heās usually portrayed.
I found it odd too, but I just treated it as they wanted to show his soft side under his hairy armor and a way for them to fit him into their story. I get why someone more attached to the classic version would find it annoying.
After all said and done (you'll end up a skeleton!), you have to go into this game accepting that the story is more āmodernized.ā
If youāre a diehard who wants dark Wolverine, the writing probably wonāt be your thing. The gameplay, though, is pretty gruesome. You might find your fun there ^^
Platinum no. 541: Wolverine
Here's my honest review:
I enjoyed it.
It's a story-driven action/adventure game. It's linear, and the gameplay almost feels like a vehicle that gets you from one piece of the story to the next. It's a casual game and it's meant to be played as that. It's not meant to be stressful, quite the opposite. If you come into this game expecting Souls-like boss battles, this isn't for you, and that's fine?
It has a pretty good story in the Earth-1048 universe. Graphically it's very nice to look at, and as I said above, the gameplay isn't too stressful, which might end up feeling boring for anyone looking for a challenge. It's a pretty good game if story-driven games are your thing. It will SUCK BIG TIME if you go in expecting a different game from what it is.
What I am trying to say is that I understand where some of the hate comes from. Sony chose a path not many agree with, and others are so exasperated by the trend of uglifying and forcefully siding with whatever ideology that they will jump at the slightest hint.
That being said, the gaming world is VAST. You aren't meant to enjoy every game. I know Wolverine was a pretty big title, but however big a title is, it will never make everyone happy. This time around, maybe you won't like it. Maybe next time you'll be the one enjoying a game everyone else hates.
Gaming is meant to entertain, but everyone has a different meaning for that word. For example, say one likes big boobs and one likes CBT. They DEFINITELY won't enjoy the same game, and that's absolutely fine XD
Remember: live and let live <3

Apparently Cyberleak just dropped the final GTA 6 leak⦠and somehow @PureRuby87 made it into the game looking this damn gorgeous. ā¤ļøāš„
I wish it were true, but actually, it's a commission for my friend @BootyLover03 š
This is Knuckles' Week At Sonic's, a FNAF fan-made game
I know it's not my usual content, but since I found out GameJolt has achievements I wanted to go play something, and here it is.
Admittedly it's pretty fun and easy enough for my broken brain to process the rules.
Barely^^
Got a new friend in my garden ^^
Don't know how to check their gender but if it's a He, I'll call him Cid, if it's a she Yuffieāŗļø
