Remember when Pyth was mostly associated with price feeds?
Pyth is cooking so hard.. look at that crazy report
More stonks, more market data, more ways to use it and now even AI agents tapping into Pyth's data
Pyth is building a financial data layer that can serve institutions, apps and potentially an entirely new generation of AI-powered software
Some say it's just price feeds, I'd argue it's become way more than that

When I traded FX, you didn’t ask when the market was open. It was always open somewhere. Sydney handed to Tokyo, Tokyo to London, London to New York, and the price kept moving with the news. That's what a market looks like when demand is global and no single exchange owns it.
US stocks are now heading down the same road. Half of the volume in the most traded US stock perps now happens when the Nasdaq is closed.
Demand for US stocks has been global for a long time, but access wasn't. If you live in Seoul, Lagos or Buenos Aires, the session that matters runs through your night, and reaching it means a local broker, a wrapper and a lot of friction. Perps removed that friction. They're open around the clock, available anywhere, and work for any asset with a price. That's the job the ETF did for the last generation of investors, and it's why global demand went there first.
Once access goes 24/7, price discovery follows. News doesn't wait for the open, earnings land after the close, and the first reaction now prints on whatever venue is open. The home exchange is still the deepest market, and the open is still the busiest hour of the day. It's just no longer the only place a stock's price gets formed, and that won't reverse.
That changes the questions that matter. When the same stock has a live price on several venues at 2am, which one do you mark to, settle on, or lend against? The market data stack was built for one venue and one closing price. It now has to work for many.

Introducing KPOW Midterms: the first tradable political index on Kalshi.
The index combines each party’s performance in Tuesday’s midterms into a single measure of political power.
Markets on the index track expectations for the balance of power in real time, as traders react to exit polls, voter turnout, and incoming results. Now tradable.

It doesn't change where demand is going. Global access is happening through perps, and tokenization becomes the slower last mile, like physical settlement in commodities for those who care about the underlying.
