With the 2025-2026 season in the books, I have updated my Quinnipiac Hockey roster projections/recruiting spreadsheet. (Rosters are subject to change with new commitments, de-commitments and the transfer portal).

Imagine seeing a Bruins all-timer sitting in the last row of the TD Garden balcony with youth hockey group tickets.
Bergy in the building.
Patrice watched last night’s win with his family and his son Zack's Newton Youth Hockey team, which took part in the Future Bruins scrimmage on @tdgarden ice before the game.

Wisconsin and Western Michigan playing an exhibition 4 weeks into the regular season is the biggest case to expand the number of games in the regular season
In the 3 games that Braden Blace has missed Quinnipiac has allowed 12 goals. In the 3 games he played the Bobcats gave up only 6 goals. He’s one of the most important players missing that no one is talking about. An 18+ minute workhorse who was a plus 20 last year.
The effort by Ethan Wyttenbach there on the game winning goal by Army is pretty unacceptable flying by the guy with the puck and doing nothing. You need to tie the player up in the boards there and prevent any entry into the offensive zone.
A doozy of a press conference from @RandPecknold tonight that lasted not even a minute. All I can say is his boys better come prepared to practice this week because it ain’t going to be easy.
Here is what Rand Pecknold had to say after the team's 4-3 overtime loss to Army.
Take a listen.

This was Quinnipiac’s first loss to an Atlantic Hockey team since January 26, 2020 in the CT Ice Final to Sacred Heart. Before that you have to go back to the 3 Rivers Classic against Robert Morris on December 30, 2016. 2 losses in 10 years against Atlantic teams.
The Quinnipiac effort tonight was beyond embarrassing. Absolutely slept walked most of the game and thought their talent could win this game alone. This defense isn’t good right now. Too many lapses and they hung Kirsch out to dry tonight.
